Chapter six!

"Hey Alex." Cedrick said, while kissing me on my cheek. We were at the dock for dinner. Cedrick looked nice, he was wearing a gray tee shirt with a , and khaki pants.

"Hey." I said smiling back at him. We walked towards the line, talking.

"You look pretty." Cedrick told me. I smiled. I looked down at my outfit, nothing that special. A white camisole, gray shorts and my converse of course.

"Thanks. Not too bad yourself." I joked. Cedrick laughed, and leaned up against a wall. It was a littke chilly out tonight, but not cold, its hawaii. Then we walked up to place our orders.

"Hi welcome to the dock, my names Er- oh hey Alex! Whats up?" My friend Eric said. I forgot he worked here. I smiled at Eric.

"Hey Eric, um this is Cedrick, um my friend." I introduced them. They said hi and nodded to each other.

"So what do you guys want?" Eric asked us. Cedrick motioned for me to go first, so I spoke up.

"Um can I have a cheeseburger with fries, and umm a chocolate milkshake please." I said. I'm not one of those girls who eat salads on dates.

"And I'll have two cheeseburgers, with onion rings, and um a um pepsi." Cedrick told Eric, who wrote it down and put it on the grill.

"$10.73 is your total." Eric said. He seemed bored. I laughed at him, waking him up from bordum. He smiled at me, I shook my head smiling.

I took out a five from my wallet, but Cedrick already paid. He smiled at me. He's such a nice guy.

"Heres your food." Eric said, giving us our food in red baskets. We took them and walked to a table right next to the water. I sat down, and Cedrick kept smiling at me.

I took a sip of my milkshake, and blushed.

"What?" I asked him. He laughed.

"You're like so..so different. In a good way you know? Like I've never been a date with a girl who's like just so cool about everything." Cedrick said. I laughed.

"Thanks?" I said smiling.

The rest of the meal was really good. Not only was my burger really good, but Cedrick was such a cool guy. When we were finished, Cedrick asked me if I wanted to take a walk on the beach.

We walked on the beach for about twenty minutes, just talking about nothing.

"So you're gonna come to the game friday night, right?" Cedrick asked, happily. I smiled.

"Yupp. Who are you playing?" I asked.

"East Shore." Cedrick said.

"Big game." I said. East Shore was their rival, this is one of their biggest games.

"Yeah, and um there's a party after the game. It'd be pretty cool if we went together." Cedrick said. I laughed.

"Together?" I asked. He wanted us to go together, but will Marcus be there? Crap. I didn't think of Marcus the entire night. Now all I'm going to be able to think about is him.

"Yeah, only if you want to." Cedrick said, looking at me. I smiled.

"Yeah, I'd be cool." I said, smiling. Cedrick smiled back t me.

"Great." Cedrick said, then walked to my street, just up the beach.

When we got to my house, we both stopped infront of my door, and faced each other.

I smiled up at Cedrick, and he smiled down. He brought his hand up to my face, and stroked my cheek.

"I had a lot of fun tonight Alex." Cedrick said, so close to my face.

"I did too." I said blushing, and looking down.

"So I'll see you on friday, right?" He asked. I nodded.

"Friday." I agreed. "Alright, um I'll see you friday." I said, looking up to him.

"Yeah, bye." Cedrick said, I started walking away, but Cedrick pulled me back, and kissed me on the lips.

It was peaceful, and nice, it actually felt right.

We both pulled away, smiling.

"Bye Alex." Cedrick said, leaving back to his car at the dock.

"Bye." I said, turning around and opening the door.

I smiled and walked to my room for bed.
