CHAPTER 10
I opened the door to my car, and hopped in for school. I am not a morning person, at all, so in the mornings I tend to be a little moody.
I stopped at a starbucks on the way to wake me up. I got a large black coffee trying to wake myself up, which it did.
"Alexandrea!" Kendal yelled from across the student parking lot. I turned around smiling and saw she was running over to my car.
"I thought I told you never to call me that." I said to Kendal when she finally got over to me. Kendal laughed and shrugged her shoulders.
"When your parents give you a name, they intend for it to be put to use." She said, grabbed my arms and walking to school, "Now lets go."
"So Miss Stoner, may I ask what you were doing with weed without my permission?" I asked sarcastically as we walked into the hallways of high school. Kendal bursted out in laughter.
"Hey you gotta do what you gotta do when you're cheated on, right?" Ken said, trying to stay strong but I could tell she was going to burst sooner or later.
"You okay?" I asked sympathetically. I could only imagine what she was going through, I've never had my heart broken, but then again I've never been in a serious relationship.
"I think so..." She trailed off, as we got to our lockers. I opened mine and pulled the books I needed out.
"I'm going to have to see him sooner or later," Ken said as we closed our lockers simultaneously, and walked to class, "preferably later."
"You're going to forget about it, we're going to party this whole weekend if we have to." I said trying to cheer up the conversation, but it didn't work.
"But I don't want to forget about it, Lex, I loved him." She said, starting to tear up at the end. I didn't know what to say, I don't think I could have said anything to that, so thankfully the annoncements saved me.
"Good morning students! Todays lunch is meatball heros with greenbeans, or a chicken cesaer salad. Principal Smith would like to personally congradulate the swim team for winning the county finals," and that's where I tuned him out.
What would happen if Marcus and I actually did work out, I mean he seemed interested, but my mind could just be playing tricks on me. I couldn't help but zone out thinking about how his hair flows in the wind, and how his side smile makes his eyes squint in the cutest way, or even how his muscles rippled while helping Kendal pick something heavy up around the house.
"Alex, let's go!" Kendal said pulling me out of my daydream. I laughed at myself, and picked my books up for class.
KEVIN'S POV
Being on the football team can be exhusting, I mean yeah we get the chicks and sex whenever we want, but we its hard being wanted so much. Yeah you could call me a player, but I don't like labels.
My buddy Marcus used to be too, until a year ago. We used to go out every weekend, get drunk and have a hot chick to fUck during the night. To me, that's paradise, and it used to be to him.
I was always more of a player than Marc, he'd actually date some of the girls, while I don't even think about being in a relationship.
Anyway here I sit in religion, after all this is a Catholic school, I don't listen though. Father Gerold is the teacher, he always tells us that temptations are difficult, but if we really want gods love, we can take them. That's why I don't listen, temptations my ass.
"BRINNNGG!" Finally the bell, schools finished. I walked out of class with my man Tom, and walked to my locker. I put my stuff in it and walked to the football field for practice.
"Hey man what's up?" Marcus greeted me as I walked into the locker room. I laughed and took my shirt off, then put on my practice uniform.
"Nothing much, just thinking about this weekend. So good man, this one girl was all over me, I mean I loved it but, daym." I said, while lacing my cleats up.
"Dude, you really shouldn't do that to girls. Some of them can be really cool." Marcus said.
"What the hell, someone's been taking their sisters teen vitamins instead of their protein shakes." I said giving him a weird look. It's like he's a completely different person from a year pr
