Sam and Colby hard times

Sick in alaska (part 2)

Nates POV
Sam and Colby didn't want dinner last night and they went to bed early. I went back to my room across the hall and canceled tomorrow's activity. Then I searched for a place that does covid testing. Once I found a place i set my alarm for 9:00am. I plugged my phone in and went to bed.
The next morning
I woke up to the sound of my alarm. I slowly got out of bed and got dressed and ready. I quickly ate a banana and then walked over to Sam and Colbys room. I knocked 3 times but got no response. I knocked again but louder and this time I heard the door being unlocked. I was greeted by a very tired and sick looking Colby.

Hey Colby. How are you feeling? Where's Sam?

Colby- I still feel sick and Sam is still asleep.

Just based on how Colby looks and sounds I can tell he feels worse than he did yesterday. I walk into the room and see Sam still in bed.

Sam you gotta wake up. We have to leave in half an hour.

Sam slowly sits up and immediately puts his head in his hands. Colby climbs back in the bed.

Colby- where are we going again?

I'm taking you guys to go get covid tested remember?

Oh yeah Colby responds while coughing. Sam nods his head.

How are you feeling this morning Sam?

Sam- I have a pounding headache and my throat still hurts.

Hardly any sound comes out of Sams mouth. Sounds like he's losing his voice. He was coughing a lot yesterday though so that might be why. Just then Colby coughed again.

Sounds like you caught Sams cough overnight. Either that or it's because your stuffy somehow drained to your chest while you were sleeping.
