It has been a couple of months since the defenders meeting and Andrea has been taking private lessons every week to help control her powers. She would meet up with Finch and headmaster Zyleftro and they would help Andrea find new powers as well as control others. So, her powers wouldn't try to corrupt her. However, whenever she would try to control her powers they would always go near to fully corrupting her. Andrea's powers over the last few months have gotten slightly harder to control and she has formed new ones. She knows how to make energy waves, makes objects break into millions of pieces with her voice, as well as read minds. She still has many powers to unlock that she may or may not see in the future.
It was another regular day in Black Academia however Asher couldn't stop talking about the ranquet tryouts on Saturday. It was Friday and every day and night he would talk about how excited he was to try out for the team. It was Friday afternoon, they had finished all of their classes and they were all heading to dinner. His talking about the tryouts became so monotonous that Andrea would start to space off and ponder about something else.
She would mostly think about her mission that she was given, counting the days when Diego, Ava, Lucas, and herself would go to the library to learn more about the haunted armor. Ryker also seemed to be tired of hearing about the ranquet tryouts, however Asher seemed to become very gregarious since the tryouts were coming up and since he stopped hanging out with his girlfriend, Ella. They might hang out every now and then however with them not having any classes together it was hard to make time.
They made it to the great hall and all sat down to see the food flying once again, coming to all the designated tables. Andrea has slowly lost her appetite any night she would train with her powers, it sometimes made her so dizzy she could hardly eat. The boys had noticed on specific days she would eat less than normal yet didn't take it into consideration since she would still eat and reassure them she was fine. The reaction of her training her powers would start the minute she would wake up. Andrea had to force herself to eat that day since last night she had training for her powers.
She didn't even realize that Asher was trying to get her attention until he snapped at her face. "Andrea!" Asher yelled, snapping his finger at her face, trying to get Andrea's attention. She looked at Asher and Ryker who were trying to get her attention, "Sorry" Andrea said, "What's up?". Andrea started to sip her pumpkin juice until she heard Ryker say something which worried her dearly.
"Did you hear about the professor betraying us, rumor states" Ryker said, looking at Andrea sitting next to him. Asher was sitting in front of them so they all could get a better look at one another. Andrea choked on her pumpkin juice, placing a fist on her chest trying to get her to stop coughing so she wouldn't create a scene. Ryker patted her on the back helping her to stop choking on her beverage. "I bet it's just a rumor, none of the teachers wouldn't betray us" Andrea said, she wasn't sure on how they knew about that. Both of the boys seemed to not believe the not-so frivolous rumor which made Andrea feel a sigh of relief.
"Anyways, I heard a boy named Diego is the captain, yet the people who might be trying out aren't the best," Asher said, starting to talk about ranquet once again. Andrea didn't know that he was the Tigerthey captain, she also hoped that they would have good enough players for their house. Asher started to rant about his excitement to try out for the team and how many of the good players had left since they were in their last year of Black Academia.
Dinner finished and they all walked back to their dorm finishing all the homework they had for the professors that weekend. The boys still continued to struggle with History of Magic while Andrea got better with potions. Whenever she didn't understand the subject they may be talking about she would go to the library on her own time and read some books about the topic. She would always start short conversations with Noah in the library yet the rest of his friends would take him away, she felt disgusted to see the Balin twins knowing she would need to meet their family.
