Chapter 29- Awaking

TW: HOSPITAL

May 1, it has been 9 days and Andrea was still unconscious. Some of her defender friends have been visiting her, to only see more meds and fluids being attached. The nurse is trying to keep her alive after some accidents, in the hospital. Since during her time in the hospital, her life was at risk during some points. At that moment, many people thought she wasn't going to make it, even the headmaster himself. Asher, Ryker, Ava, Diego, Astra, and Lucas were the only ones who still believed she would wake up. Astra and Andrea became much closer before she went on her mission. Asher was still not able to sleep and stayed sitting next to Andrea's hospital bed. Keeping his hopes up that Andrea would wake up. Just before something that shocking happened; a very long memory, or some type of dream came into Andrea's head.

It was a normal day with Andrea and her friends. They were all hanging out with each other, having a splendid time. They were acting a bit odd, however Andrea thought it was nothing out of the ordinary, or so she thought. Many of them were just talking or doing their own thing. Something they would usually do when they would hang out. They were hanging out in the Tigerthey common room inside of Andrea's dorm. All of them were talking with one another on a regular weekend day. They were all having a blast with each other, laughing and talking about some of the most randomest things. In this world, the haunted armor didn't exist, and it was just a very simple year. However with that change, there were some other things that were adjusted, that may or may not be true. For now, they were having a blast talking with one another.

"Noah is the only nice one, I don't know why he is friends with them!" Lucas said, who was sitting on Asher's desk. During that moment they were talking about Noah's group who would always bully them. Lucas, the leader of Bathens, always loved to know about those troublemakers. He just likes to know, mainly to give them a talking to, which they never listen to. "I feel the same way! Noah was my friend in the muggle school before he moved, sweetest boy ever" Andrea said. Knowing the good memories they had as a kid, yet wasn't able to remember them as clearly. Even Lucas agreed that Noah was a very nice kid, along with everyone else in the room. "Maybe it was his only friends at the time, it's hard to make new ones sometimes" Andrea said.

Some agreed while some didn't, some were better at making friends then others. "I found it pretty easy to make friends" Ava said, which they were all not surprised. She was one of the kindest girls they have ever met. So for her, it wasn't a problem to make friends, Lucas and Andrea always struggled. "You're nice, some people aren't as kind as you," Lucas said, with Andrea agreeing. Once they saw her agree they were very confused that she found it hard to make friends. She would always act so kind around them, also very crazy. "It's hard for you to make friends?" Ryker questioned, not believing it. Andrea just nodded her head and told them not many people liked her in her muggle school. Though shocked they continued talking, until this one memory came up in Diego's mind.

"I remember how nervous Andrea was when she first met Ava" Diego said. It made Andrea go red and stick her head into her pillow. Completely embarrassed about the way she acted when they first met each other. They started laughing, excluding Asher and Ryker. They didn't know about her defender meeting in the beginning of the year. Andrea was too embarrassed to tell them the story, it was something she wished to have forgotten. That is when Lucas decided to tell them the story. With him saying, "When Andrea was called to meet us defenders, she had to learn some of the most dangerous curses to ever exist. It wasn't so bad at first, using a controlling spell on Ava, it was only until using this one curse that makes you bleed out like crazy".

Even without finishing the story the boys were in shock. They didn't know that Andrea knew many of the dangerous curses, something they weren't allowed to learn until their 5th year of Black Academia. "I remember seeing her face, she was scared while Ava was trying to calm her down. I did feel bad for the little girl however Andrea was able to do it. She ended up learning all of the curses in one night. So, that is how Andrea and Ava met, with us slowing meeting her as well" Lucas finished the story. The boys were shocked that in the defender meeting, their own teammates would be their subjects. Andrea's face was still in the pillow, while everyone was just laughing. For some reason they all became silent, while Andrea was just looking at them suspiciously.
