"What do you mean by tell me something? Have you been hiding something again?" Andrea said, slightly yelling it. At that moment, Andrea couldn't believe that Asher might be hiding something from her again. Andrea wasn't sure if Ryker knew, however had a feeling the news was going to be horrible once again. "Look, I-I didn't know when to tell you guys because I was going through a lot, now knowing what you went through I feel comfortable saying it" Asher said, it made Andrea worry. She had never seen Asher this worried in his entire life and was just wondering what could have been in that letter. "You know you can trust me with anything right? I'm your best friend" Andrea said. She thought the letter might have been from his parents, however he was tearing up so it left her even more clueless. That was until Asher handed Andrea something that was in his pocket, it was a letter.

"What is this?" Andrea said, not even taking the letter from his hand yet, even though she thought Asher wanted her to. Asher sighed, just wishing that Andrea would already take the note so Ryker wouldn't start to get suspicious. "It's the letter, I want you to read you for yourself" Asher said, nearly shoving it into Andrea's hands. Nearly dropping the letter she grabbed it yet didn't want to open it, however she didn't know why. Andrea has been wanting to know what has been going on for so long yet didn't want to be reading someone's letter. She didn't know if there was any information that could be private to Asher, yet was still showing it to Andrea. "Well, why can't you just read it yourself to me, or just give it a summary?" Andrea said, giving Asher the letter, nearly putting it in his hands.

However, Asher just pushed the letter even close to Andrea so she could open it up and figure out on her own. "I know what you are thinking, what type of best friend would I be if I didn't? I trust you and don't worry, no private information of mine is in the letter. I just- want you to figure it out this way, it is very hard for me to talk about it" Asher said, his eyes getting glossy even thinking about it. Andrea saw his eyes and just decided that if Asher trusted her reading the letter, she would respect his decisions. Andrea was going to open the letter however she didn't feel like it was the right thing to do. "I can't do it, my responsible side of working is showing" Andrea said, even though wishing she could know, she didn't have the audacity to read it. Asher just slightly chuckled and looked at her. "Just open it, it will make more sense why I have been slightly down lately" Asher said, reassuring Andrea it was ok.

Asher grabbed Andrea's hand, reassuring her it was ok and she finally opened the letter:

Dear Asher Hunter Maka,                                                                                                                                 12/25/20

It is sadly to inform you that during a mission on December 20, 2020 there was a sudden mass murder where your parents were working. They killed 30 people and your mother and father, Ethan Maka and Jordyn Evan were seriously injured. Your parents didn't die on the spot however needed medical attention immediately. While on the way to the hospital they were both drifting in and out of consciousness. After fighting long and hard they did end up making it to the hospital, and were put into a coma while on life support. We as Undergons wanted to tell you sooner however just received the news today that on December 25, 2020 at 3:36am they had passed away. We are deeply sorry and are still trying to find the murder who did this to your parents along with many others.

We have come to believe that they had killed your parents to get inside of your vault at the Gray Border. It turns out you, along with your family, were one of the richest in the world and the money could last for generations. Sadly, the murderers also went to the Gray Border and stole the majority of your money, however they were able to save some of it to last you only the next 2 years of supplies. The Gray Border will try to help you out as much as possible however they aren't sure if they can do much, Darkons aren't allowed to just give money away. Your parents wished for you to also see this note as well, they meant to send it.
