Jungkook had been wrestling with a major decision for a while, and it all came down to this moment—seeking the advice of Jimin's best friends, Tae and Hobi. Standing outside his house, Jungkook nervously shifted on his feet as he prepared to ask them something that could change everything.

"I want your opinion..." he began cautiously.

"About what?" Tae asked, sensing the tension in Jungkook's voice.

Jungkook hesitated for a second before finally revealing his intentions. "I want to propose to Jimin."

"What??" Tae nearly screamed in shock, his voice ringing through the quiet yard, but before it could escalate, Hobi quickly clapped his hand over his boyfriend's mouth, stifling the outburst. Tae pulled Hobi's hand away, though his eyes remained wide with curiosity and excitement.

"You brought us here for this?" Tae asked, clearly itching to ask more questions, but holding back for the moment.

"Well... yeah, I wanted to talk to you both before I do anything. Do you want to come inside?" Jungkook offered nervously, though his mind was already buzzing with worry about how this conversation would go. He knew how much Jimin's best friends meant to him, and he couldn’t move forward without their blessing.

"Nah, we need to be quick," Hobi said with a small grin. "We promised Jae we'd take him out, and you know how he gets if we’re late." Jungkook chuckled in agreement, fully aware of Jae's fiery personality when it came to broken promises. It was something Jae shared with his appa—Jimin never took lightly to broken promises either.

"Alright, straight to the point, then," Jungkook said, bracing himself. "I love Jimin. I love Jae. But we’ve never talked about our relationship directly. I know I want to be with him, and I want to be part of Jae's life too. But... I need to ask. Do you think I'm worthy? Am I worthy to be in their lives?"

Tae blinked at the heavy question, taking a moment to let it sink in. "Wow... that’s a lot. Give me a minute," Tae said, his usual playful tone faltering as he rubbed his temples dramatically.

Hobi, always the calmer one, rolled his eyes but smiled at Tae’s reaction. Deep down, Hobi already knew Jungkook was special. He could see it in the way Jimin talked about him, in the way Jae lit up around Jungkook. "I’ll say this," Hobi began. "You’re already someone important to both Jimin and Jae. They care about you. But..."

"But?" Jungkook felt his heart race, waiting for the other shoe to drop.

"Are you ready? Mentally, physically? You’re not just inviting Jimin into your life. Jae’s part of the package too. Jimin has been through a lot, even if he doesn’t show it all the time. He carries things you might not even realize. So, the question is, are you ready to face all of that with him?"

Jungkook looked down for a moment, his thoughts racing. "I’m ready," he said, his voice steady. "I know Jimin’s been through a lot, but I love him and Jae with all my heart. I want to be there for them, no matter what."

Tae softened, and a small smile tugged at his lips. "Well, then, I think you’ll be just fine."

"Do you really think Jimin would accept me?" Jungkook asked, his voice filled with both hope and uncertainty.

Tae chuckled. "He’ll say yes. Trust me, I can tell he loves you too."

Jungkook felt a surge of relief, a smile breaking out on his face. "Thank you. Thank you both. You don’t know how much that means."

Before they could respond, Jungkook shifted gears. "Actually, there’s something else I need to tell you. I got a big offer from the U.S. A client wants me to move there for a while... but after talking to you both, I think I know what to do."

Hobi and Tae both looked at him with raised eyebrows, waiting for his next words.

"I’m rejecting the offer."

Both Tae and Hobi were taken aback. "Wait, what? You’re giving up that opportunity?" Tae asked in disbelief.

Jungkook nodded. "Yeah. I thought about it, and my life’s not in the U.S. It’s here—with Jimin and Jae. I want to be with them, and that’s more important to me than anything else."

Tae’s shocked expression melted into a smile as he patted Jungkook on the back. "Man, Jimin’s lucky to have you."

Hobi nodded in agreement, a look of approval on his face. "You’re making the right choice. Jimin and Jae need you here."

Jungkook smiled, feeling more confident than ever about his decision. Now, all that was left was to make it official. He would propose to Jimin, not just for a relationship but to be a family.
