"What are you doing so early in the morning?" Jungkook muttered groggily, still half-asleep as he opened the door. Standing there with a wide smile were his boyfriend, Jimin, and their little ball of energy, Jae, who was already brimming with excitement despite the early hour.

"Kookie Appa, hurry up! Wear your shirt!" Jae exclaimed, barely giving Jungkook time to blink before grabbing his hand and pulling him inside the house with surprising strength for such a little kid.

Jungkook, still in a daze, followed along as Jae led him towards the bedroom. Meanwhile, Jimin casually made his way to the kitchen, opening the fridge and cupboards, clearly on a mission.

"Cereal?" Jungkook asked in mild disbelief when he finally joined Jae at the table and saw him happily munching on a bowl of cereal. He knew Jimin was probably less than thrilled about this.

Jimin's expression confirmed his thoughts. "What?" Jimin's annoyed face shot Jungkook a glare as he rummaged through the bare kitchen cabinets. There wasn't much to work with, and Jimin’s frustration was clear. "How am I supposed to make a healthy breakfast when there’s literally nothing in here?"

Jungkook scratched the back of his neck sheepishly. "Ahhh, I forgot to buy groceries," he admitted, his mind clearly still preoccupied with everything that had happened after the fire that destroyed his gallery. Food had been the last thing on his mind.

But Jae didn’t seem to care. He was too busy giggling at the situation, especially when Jungkook plopped down beside him, pouting as he reluctantly picked at the cereal Jimin had managed to find.

"Kookie Appa..." Jae whispered conspiratorially, leaning toward Jungkook and waving his little hand to get his attention.

Jungkook leaned closer, intrigued. "What is it, buddy?"

"Don’t argue with Jiminie Appa," Jae said in a hushed tone, his eyes wide and serious. "Appa doesn’t like it, and we don’t want to see him become an angry Donald Duck." Jae cupped his hands over his mouth, muffling a laugh as he referred to Jimin’s frequent and animated outbursts.

Jungkook couldn't help but chuckle at Jae’s comparison. Jimin had a way of getting adorably flustered when he was upset, and the idea of Jimin as a cute, babbling Donald Duck was spot on.

"But he’s cute when he’s mad," Jungkook said, smirking as he glanced toward the kitchen where Jimin was still looking for something decent to cook.

Jae grinned, clearly proud. "Well, yeah, he’s my Appa!" he said, his voice full of pride. Jae loved boasting about his Appa. No one could match the way Jimin loved and cared for him—his love for his son was fierce, protective, and boundless.

"Well, he’s my boyfriend," Jungkook added with a playful grin, "and soon-to-be my husband."

"Shhhh!" Jae waved a finger dramatically, mimicking the way Jimin always told them to hush up while eating. "Appa says don’t talk with your mouth full!" he whispered with a conspiratorial giggle, glancing toward the kitchen where Jimin had now turned his attention back to them.

Jimin, suspicious of the whispered exchange between his two favorite people, narrowed his eyes. "What are you two whispering about?" he asked, clearly wondering what joke he wasn’t in on.

Jungkook, trying to stifle his laughter, put on a mock-serious face. "Shhh, no talking when eating," he teased back, using Jae’s earlier line.

That earned him a glare from Jimin, who wasn’t in the mood for their antics this morning. Jae shook his head, looking at Jungkook like he’d just made a rookie mistake. "Kookie Appa, you’re in trouble now," he whispered, giggling softly under his breath.

Jimin, not amused, pointed at the table. "Clean the kitchen before you both go out. Wash all of this," he commanded, gesturing at the bowls and cups scattered on the table. His tone left no room for argument as he turned to prepare a little surprise for Jungkook.

"Kookie Appa, you need to wash this. It’s your fault. You shouldn’t have made Jiminie Appa mad," Jae declared, following his father's lead without hesitation.

Jungkook groaned but couldn’t help but smile at the scene. His life was chaotic, but it was filled with love. As he dragged himself to the sink, he couldn’t help but think, What have I gotten myself into with these two? Yet, deep down, he wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world.
