The air pressure shifted as he felt it. the Everyone else clutched their ears as they heard it.

The barrier was obliterated. They went deaf for mere seconds as a sonic boom erupted throughout the sky.

Barry knew of only 3 people who could have done that—2 of them were off-world, the other one......

'It's not possible....How....'

Despite the pain that he was feeling, a smirk unknowingly made way onto the Flash's face. Something barreled into whatever was left of the robot.

Dust billowed up front the impact but at the speed that thing was going at, the robot was definitely a goner.

They couldn't see what was happening because of the dust but they were correct. The figure that barreled into the poor excuse for a robot sent the last of its metal flying. The figure grabbed a spare piece of the metal and stabbed through the core. Twin beams of heat erupted from the figures eyes, effectively melting the metal in the core. Using any metal the figure could find, mostly of what ever was left of the robot, a dome was made and melted onto the explosive core.

The core started to fluctuate. Metal, concrete—anything within the radius was being funneled towards it. The figure grabbed the dome and shot up towards the sky.

To the heroes, they just saw something shoot up from the dust cloud and then mere seconds later, massive waves of colorful energy detonated across the atmosphere—well more accurately the explosion took place in space but to the people of earth it seemed like it was in the atmosphere.

The figure shot down extremely fast and landed in front of the heroes. Creating a miniature explosion and a deep crater. Luckily the airport was long forgotten—so 'yay' no property damage fees.

The heroes braced themselves at the impact and moved their hands around, coughing. The dust slowly cleared and the outline of the figure was visible. The figure was floating in the air, it was angelic with rays of the sun shone behind them. The figure took on a feminine shape. Her hair billowing gently, but confidently behind her. A cloak of a cape doing the same. Some of the dust cleared and 2 things were slightly visible. One glimmered, and the other was filled with emotion.

The female figure shot up into the sky, and with a burst of speed, she was gone.

"Okayyyy...what in the world just happened?!" Spider-Man asked bewildered.

Everyone just shook their heads, well all of them except for one.

The Green Lantern looked at his friend. The smirk on the Flash's face was replaced by a look more incredulous. The Flash's mouth may have had the same expression as anyone else, but his eyes......his eyes held a different story.
We're they filled with confusion? Sorrow? Hope? Angst? Dread? Anger? He didn't know.

"....Buddy?" The Green Lantern asked his friend.

He has only seen this look in his eyes once before. When? As Hal Jordan. Where? In the eyes of Barry Allen.

Without a doubt, Hal knew.....that Barry Allen's inner Pandora's Box had been re-opened.
