Peter couldn't really express how well his week went. Barry was alive, He got close to Kara, someone who he was so ecstatic to meet when she came back. Now he considers her a close friend, like an older sister. He took out any crimes in Queens that would give the cops trouble. To top it off, he also got into MIT with Wally, and Miles got into MA College of Art and Design.

"You got this Peter- you can do it." Peter told himself softly.

He was standing outside of a dorm room. Specifically, Ned's dorm room.

After the big multiversal fiasco, and no one remembering Peter, he decided to start fresh. That how he met Wally, and the others. This was also somehow tied in with 'Crisis': a mass extinction event. Anyways, with the help of Wally, Peter was able to lightly reconnect with Ned, and especially, MJ. It didn't matter if they didn't remember him, their dynamic was everlasting. They were like the Golden Trio except they weren't wizards. Miles and Wally were mostly a team, along with Miles's closest friend, Ganke Lee. So basically it would be 2 groups of 3. Each in their own rights.

Today would be the day where Peter could hopefully spark a nostalgic moment. He was going to ask Ned if he wanted to build a Lego Deathstar.

75% of Peter assured him that Ned would say yes. He was Ned after all. The remaining 25% said no. It has been a little while since they really started to hangout. He opted to listen to the 75%.

So, here he was. Standing outside Ned's dorm room. With a deep breath, Peter knocked on the door.

Once. Nothing.

Twice. Also Nothing.

Peter knocked a third time, his 75% hope decreasing down to 50%.

There was some shuffling until the door opened, revealing Ned in a gray, Star Wars shirt and red, checkered pajama pants.

"Oh, hey Peter" Ned said somewhat tiredly.

Peter's confidence dropped down to 25%.

"Hey Ned..." Peter started slowly.

"I don't know if this is a bad time—it seems like a bad time. But uh- would you uh, like to build the new Lego Deathstar with me? I mean it's not new, it's old but-" Peter quieted down from rambling.

"Oh..uhm..I don't know..I just finished my work and all.." Ned responded slowly.

Peter's confidence and hope dropped down to 1%. If they didn't die already.

"Oh- that's fine. I completely forgot about the homework we had due for tomorrow." Peter said with a smile.

"Which- you already had done didn't you" Ned asked.

"Well- I.."

Peter didn't really get the chance to respond nor did he know where this was going.

Ned burst into a laughter and a smile. That geeky smile that Peter remember so clearly.

"Dude are you kidding?! Of course I wanna build Lego Star Wars stuff!!" Ned exclaimed.

"I was bored after all the homework anyways! And before you start, it's not because you look down—I was just playing with you!"

Peter's hope and confidence merged into happiness—which surged through the roof.

As Ned giddily welcomed Peter inside, Peter examined his room. It was basically how Ned likes to keep it. Clean, yet Messy at the same time. Geeky and nerdy, yet it was home.

"Hey, would you mind if we invite MJ over?" Ned asked Peter as he sat next to him.

Peter had to restrain himself from screaming "invite her!".

"Of course not!" Peter replied happily.

He doesn't know how. But even in this timeline. MJ always came early and quickly. In approximately 5 minutes after calling her, she showed up at Ned's doorstep. With snacks.

"You guys are losers" MJ said lazily as she watched them build the Deathstar.

"Yeah we know, you've said that over a million times" Ned responded, trying to pry a piece off another.

Peter chuckled at the comment.

Even though Ned and MJ met Peter a couple months prior, it's as if they knew him for years. They were able to connect instantly. Unknown to them—minus Peter—they connected like that before in the old timeline too.

For Ned, it was brotherhood. Best friends for life. For MJ however, she viewed him just as she did Ned—with a slight thought about something more. This person was..well something else.

Oddly enough the two of them felt complete with Peter. And the latter—felt enlightened.

Peter glanced up at MJ, "Are you gonna try for the Academic Decathlon Club? Ned and I are."

"I don't know if I wanna be in a club surrounded by losers, it's kind of—boring and akward." MJ replied nonchalantly.

"Then why do you hang out with us?" Ned asked.

"Well because I'm lonely. And you guys are an exception." MJ said with a small smirk.

Peter smiled at MJ, who smiled back. Both of them eventually broke the gaze with a blush.

As the night progressed, the 3 teens continued to chat, laugh and relax. They continued to just have fun. Even MJ joined the building of the Imperial machine.

This was it...Peter was slowly getting his life back together again. Peter was happy, he wasn't alone. Not anymore.
