Ping-
Ping-
Ping-Every single techie that Barry ever met, and that knew his identity were working intently. All the tech savvy nerds from Team Flash, Arrow, Supergirl, Batwoman, Black Lightning, Legends and more were drinking high caffeinated coffee and destroying their keyboards.
Barry and Alex stood not far behind them, their eyes scanning the monitors intently.
"I can't believe it Barry" Jefferson said as he watched from the futon.
"Supergirl is....alive and in the city...?"
Barry nodded, his eyes still tracing the screen.
Jefferson came right away when Barry asked for help. Especially when he needed any tech savvy people. What he didn't expect was what he needed them for.
"We don't how she came back— not that we're complaining" piped Thea Queen.
"What the big question is why didn't she come back to one of us?" Julian added.
"Maybe she somehow lost her memory? I mean she did travel back from space." Caitlin proposed.
"That would explain why she didn't come back to us right away" Alex said.
"How about when she saved us from the ugly Tin-Man?" Hal asked.
"She had complete control of her powers"
"It's possible her memory loss was just like Barry's. She could have just forgotten who she was or us. Could be both." Caitlin said.
"EXCELCIOR!"
"YAHTZEE!"
"BOO-YAH!"
"GOT IT!"Every single techie yelled—at the same time—. It didn't help that there was a pinging sound blaring throughout the room either.
With the press of a few buttons and keys, a golden marker was visible on the giant monitor. The marker revealed a location, and a name.
A name that they haven't seen in a long time.
A name they all missed alike.
A name that meant the world to many people.
A name that describes the alter ego of a bubbly blonde who was essential in Barry Allen's life.
"Gideon?"
"I've already set the location into your suit Barry Allen" Gideon Responded
"Then let's go get out girl back" Alex said with an emotion she missed for a while. Hope.
At the location
The Flash, Green Lantern, Speedy, Black Lightning, and Spider-Man were at the rendezvous point.
Peter Parker alias Spider-Man was brought into the plan. He was a good friend of Wally, so it was only natural.
The heroes walked into an abandoned and rundown area. In the center sat someone who they thought they would never see again or ever.
Supergirl sat on a metal ledge, her head clutched by her hand. She perked up hearing footsteps.
She whipped around, getting into a fighting stance.
First, their eyes met.
Barry spoke first.
"Supergirl....we mean no harm...we just want to talk" The Flash spoke gently and slowly.
"Please understand English" Cisco prayed in the comms.
Supergirl lowered her fists, yet she still kept her guard.
"You...you were there...when I was fighting that robot..." her words came out more like a question.
"I know you may have a lot of questions....but you can trust us....you can trust me..." Barry said.
"I- I know.....I can't remember who you all are or who- who I am....but when I saw you that day...I felt some sort of connection....I feel like I can trust you" Supergirl spoke softly.
Barry's lips curved into a smile. A smile of recognition. A smile of happiness. Of hope.
Barry open his mouth to speak, but before he could, a beam ripped through the sky.
