Breathe

It's hard to breathe
The pills don't work anymore
The tears will flow forevermore
It's hard to breathe.

My chest tightens
I am just a teen
Who has been through a lot
And is breaking like a pot.

Don't judge me by my smiles
I am very broken
My happiness is miles away
I am keen to find it.

Can you see through me?
Can you see the pain and hurt?
I try to breathe but I sink deeper
Please let me breathe.
