bad chapter ideas i will never write but am very attached to anyway: part 1

* (this one is something I wish I had done in book one) Dark and Clear have to throw a dinner party at their house, right when Shadowhunter is, like, a toddler and at the height of her mischief, Darkstalker teaches Clearsight to make all the most ridiculous rich person dishes, idk they get to be dumb and wholesome?

*Heartfire POV chapter. Need I say more?

*Trailblazer POV chapter

* Dark and Clear desperately try to take their kids on a vacation in the summer, it goes about as well as can be expected

* Shadowhunter and Permafrost fake-date to piss off Darkstalker, only then they actually fall in love. (Which wouldn't really work because Darkstalker would never be mad at her for dating an IceWing, he's just concerned it'll end badly like his parents, but it's still a funny idea to me)

* Clearsight does an interview with some big newspaper or whatever, when they were at the height of their fame. Idk any more than that, I just like the idea.

* Everyone has to star in a really bad school play about how Darkstalker and Clearsight are Bad. Listener's kids are there, Shadowhunter has to play Star and pretend to die, she has a mental breakdown, Way is there, something goes down with the New Star???

* Some more content of what happened during the war while Darkstalker was gone. I like to imagine Clearsight and Shadowhunter would come home from work and school and Clearsight would try to make dinner, and Shadowhunter would just sit there, ranting about her day, and Clearsight would rant about hers, idk my mom and I used to do that when I was little until we felt better, it's kind of a nostalgic memory

* Clearsight throws Darkstalker a surprise bday party (might still do this, but it probably won't be for a while lol)

* This would really only work as a modern! and human! au, hence why it never happened, but anyway, imagine they're all humans and it's Halloween. Darkstalker dresses up as a fucking wizard, which Clearsight finds endlessly amusing, he really just does it to make her laugh. Eclipse and Prince are peanut butter and jelly, Way dresses up as Shakespeare, Shadowhunter and Brightmind cosplay as characters from a very niche TV show and if one person asks Shadowhunter who she is, she's going to commit a crime. Clearsight probably gets really overinvested in her costume, but I can't figure out what she'd do??? They take the kids trick-or-treating, it's a wholesome good time.
