Hello. So, I have never known how many words OTQ was actually in total—I write the chapters as individual files on my google docs, copy and paste them into wattpad and that's it. So it's never really occurred to me to check. But last night I was desperately trying to find what the fuck I made Snowfox's mom's name (if you know please tell me I will forever be in your debt, I need to know for the next chapter and I cannot find it anywhere) and so I decided to copy and paste from Wattpad into one massive word doc which I'm seriously amazed didn't crash my computer, for ease of searching the whole document.
So. Do you want to know how many words OTQ is?
Before you can see it you gotta put your guess in the comments.
Ok.One True Queen, a fan fiction I wrote between ages fifteen and sixteen in roughly a year and a half, clocks in at 458,000 words, or about 900 pages, putting it at about 100k words less than War and Peace. OTQ may be the longest "book" you have ever read (I don't know you but the majority of books I read are not 900 pages). You probably spent around 25 hours for the average reading speed reading One True Queen. Anyway. Um. Just thought people should know. I'm losing my mind. I knew it was long but I honestly didn't think it was that long.
