Just a DISCLAIMER:
I believe that both Xiao and Lumine are actually of a similar age considering, they're both chronologically 3000+. However, many have theorized that Lumine has a body of 15-year-old, but is biologically 20. In addition, theories have been made assume that if Xiao was a mortal, he would also be 20. That is also because he has the appearance of a young man. Basically, they both look young but they're old? XD. In conclusion, I think it is okay to ship them. (I mean come on they went on a lantern rite "date" at Wangshu inn)
