Tahlia-

I'm out running errands and am currently at the store when I get a stream of texts from my husband, Luke. He's been on tour lately and is finally home so I took the opportunity to run some errands while he watches our one year old daughter, Indiana or Ana for short. He's been nervous about taking care of her since he is knew to the whole father thing and is scared that he'll do something wrong but I know he's going to be a great dad.

Luke: Tahl, I need help.

Tahlia: What's wrong? Did something happen?

Luke: She woke up and she's crying. What do I do?

Tahlia: Luke, just pick her up and rock her back and forth. You've seen me do it all the time, just try it.

I sigh and put my phone back into my pocket before continuing around the store. I walk down the baby aisle and grab diapers, baby wipes, and some bottles. I walk down to the produce section when I get a phone call. I pull out my phone to see Luke's name on the caller ID.

Tahlia: Yes Luke?

Luke: I tried like you said and she's still crying. Please just come home.

Tahlia: Luke I need to finish shopping. Try giving her a pacifier or her blanket.

Luke: Okay...

Luke: I tried it and she's still crying. I don't know what to do Tahl. I can't do this, I'm calling in backup for help. I'm sorry, I just can't.

He hangs up and I stand there shocked. He's really just leaving Ana alone with who? A babysitter? I leave the cart and walk out of the store before jumping in my car and driving home. It takes me about 15 min to get back to the house that Luke and I share and when I get there another car is parked in the driveway.

I open the back door and am about to call out but instead hear the soft strumming of a guitar coming from the living room. I follow the music and peek my head around the doorway to see all the boys sitting in a circle around Ana who's lying on a blanket. Luke and Michael have their guitars while Ashton is sitting on his cajon. I instantly recognize the song as "For Baltimore" by All Time Low but the boys are doing the acoustic version. I sit on the stairs out of sight and listen to the boys as they harmonize and sing to my baby girl.

Mayday situation overload
I'm restless, obsessed with your future
And all my worries they don't bother you
Collected, you render me useless
But I carry on

Right now, I think that you think that I'm
Half drunk, searching for something of
Substance, casually dropping a line, designed
To keep you next to me
I can't awkwardly craft in advance
I know, that you wouldn't fall for that
You say "Shut up and take my hand"
And we carry on

I don't wanna say goodnight
The city comes alive, when we're together
Why can't Thursday last forever
I don't wanna say goodnight
I've never been so sure
Just do it for the memories
Do it for Baltimore
And do it for me

Hot damn, look at me now
I'm all, caught up riding the high of my
Good luck, casually dropping a line, designed,
To keep you next to me
I bet you never thought you would fall again
So much for keeping this, just friends
Shut up and kiss me now
And we carry on

I don't wanna say goodnight
The city comes alive, when we're together
Why can't Thursday last forever
I don't wanna say goodnight
I've never been so sure
Just do it for the memories
Do it for Baltimore
And do it for me
(Do it for me)

Mayday situation overload
I'm restless, obsessed with your future
And all my worries they don't bother you
Collected, you render me useless
But I carry on

I don't wanna say goodnight
The city comes alive, when we're together
Why can't Thursday last forever
I don't wanna say goodnight
I've never been so sure
Just do it for the memories
Do it for Baltimore

At the end of the song I slowly walk into the room to see all the boys cooing over Ana as she plays with her toes. Luke hands his guitar off to Calum and picks her up off the ground. He holds her close and kisses her cheek.

"We all love you Ana," he whispers, "You're our little princess."

"And if anyone hurts our little princess they'll have to deal with us," Ash coos as he holds his arms out and Luke hands her to him.

He notices me standing off to the side and walks over leaving the boys to play with Ana.

"Hi babe," he smiles and sits down next to me.

"That was amazing," I say and he blushes.

"I-I just thought that maybe if she was like her mother and me as well, she would have a love for music too," he smiles and watches as the three boys who claim to be punk rock fight over who's the best uncle for Ana.

"You did great," I lean over and kiss him softly, "So well that I don't know if I can compete when you're gone."

"Well that shouldn't be a problem for a while. We're all taking some time off for the next couple months so it looks like I'm staying. And then I'm taking you two with me. I can't live without my family."

"Are you serious?" I look at him in shock and he nods. "Oh my gosh Luke!" I wrap my arms around his neck and kiss him passionately.

"We'll finally be a family, and we're never going to be apart again."
