CHAPTER THIRTEEN:
GET LOST, SQUIDWARD!

"HERE ME, AND REJOICE. YOU are about to die at the hands of the Children of Thanos. Be thankful, that your meaningless lives are now contributing to―︎"

"I'm sorry, Earth is closed today. You better pack it up and get outta here." Tony interrupted the creature.

"Stonekeeper. . ." He looks towards Stephen Strange who patiently waited for him to continue. "Does this chattering animal speak for you?"

"Certainly not. I speak for myself." He took a step forward, the magic bands appearing around his wrists. "But you're trespassing in this city and on this planet."

"It means get lost, Squidward!" Tony yelled, and Victoria had to admit that the creature did compare to that of Squidward.

"He exhausts me." The alien breathed. The larger one that was standing beside of him grunted in response. "Bring me the stone." The giant alien grunts again before dragging his weapon along the road as he started closer to the group.

"You should escape while you still can." Tony mumbled to her, making the brunette look at him in disbelief.

     "Absolutely not." She hissed.

"Vic, there's nothing you can do here."

Victoria rolled her eyes as she turned her attention back towards the creature. "I can take care of myself."

Tony sighed before looking towards Bruce. "Banner, you want a piece?"

Bruce glanced towards the billionaire, rubbing his hands together as he sighed. "No, not really, but when do I ever get what I want?" Tony nodded his head before Bruce changed into the Hulk, or rather, he tried. He let out a grunt, the green veins appearing on his neck before disappearing. Tony and Victoria exchanged looks with one another before looking back towards the scientist.

"Been a while. Good to have you, buddy." Tony tried.

"I just. . . I need to concentrate here for one second." Bruce assured them with a clenched jaw, trying once more. "Come on, come on, man."

     "Where's your guy?"

     "I don't know. We've sorta been havin' a thing."

"There's no time for a thing."

     "I know."

Tony pointed towards the giant alien that was still growing closer and closer. "That's the thing right there. Let's go." Bruce tries again, but fails. Stephen and Wong were looking at the man with raised eyebrows. "Dude, you're embarrassing me in front of the wizards."
