EPILOGUE:
ENDLESSLY

"EVERYBODY WANTS A HAPPY ENDING right? But it doesn't always roll that way. Maybe this time. I'm hoping if you play this back, it's in celebration. I hope families are reunited, I hope we get it back, and something like a normal version of the planet has been restored. If there ever was such a thing. God, what a world. Universe, now.

"If you told me ten years ago that we weren't alone, let alone, you know, to this extent, I mean, I wouldn't have been surprised. But come on, you know? That epic forces of darkness and light that have come into play. And, for better or worse, that's the reality Emerson's gonna have to find a way to grow up in." The recording of Tony was in the middle of the living room with Tony sitting on a stool as he looked at them, but he wasn't actually there.

"So I thought I'd probably better record a little greeting. In the case of an untimely death on my part. Not that, death in any time isn't untimely. This time travel thing that we're gonna try and pull off tomorrow, it's. . . it's got me scratching my head about the survivability of it all. But then again, that's the hero gig. Part of the journey is the end." Tony suddenly gets up walking towards his camera. "What am I even trippin' for? Everything's gonna work out exactly the way it's supposed to." He leans down and smiles, looking straight at Emerson who had tears in her eyes. "I love you 3,000." And then, the recording ended. Victoria closed her eyes before standing up and grabbing her daughters hand.

They all go outside and watch as Victoria carries a wreath out of the house to an audience waiting outside for the funeral. She lays the wreath on the lake. The place where they had been attempting to teach Emerson how to swim, but the girl simply liked wearing floaties and splashing her two parents with the water. The lake that had so many memories, and the lake that Tony Stark would now forever be a part of.

On top of the wreath is Tony's first arc reactor which Tony's ex―︎Pepper―︎had framed with the words "Proof that Tony Stark has a heart" back when she and Tony had first met. It was meaningful, it was the truth, and Victoria liked that as his final memory. Victoria, Emerson, Happy Hogan, and Rhodey, stood there all being joined by Steve Rogers, Peter Parker, May Parker, Thor, Bruce Banner, Doctor Strange, Wong, Scott Lang, Hope Van Dyne, Janet Van Dyne, Hank Pym, Peter Quill, Nebula, Rocket, Groot, Drax, Mantis, T'Challa, Okoye, Shuri, Clint Barton and his family, Wanda Maximoff, Bucky Barnes, Sam Wilson, Harley Keener, Secretary Ross, Maria Hill, Carol Danvers, Nick Fury, and even Pepper Potts herself as they all silently watched as the wreath floats away.

Victoria had given Steve a hug before he had left, with the man telling her his silent plan. He too was leaving. But she understood. So she hugged her best friend as tightly as she could before giving him a kiss on his cheek and allowing him to leave. She had lost so many that day. Three of the most important people to her in life. Tony, Natasha, and now Steve. All that was left in this world for her was her daughter, and that would be her main goal in life. Emerson needed her. She needed her mother. And so, a mother she would be.

HELLO EVERYONE! When I tell you that I was in literal tears whilst writing these last two chapters, I mean I was crying. And it didn't help that See You Again was playing in the background, so that's fun. Anyways, we have finally reached the end of Endlessly! Yes, that's right, Victoria Mason's story is officially over. Which breaks my heart.

I absolutely love Victoria and I love everything about her. And loved hers and Tony's relationship. I just loved everything about this book. I really hope that you all have enjoyed reading about Victoria's story as much as I have writing it. And even though this story didn't really end on a happy note, it ended with Victoria promising to herself that she would be there with her daughter, even while she was going through her grief.

First of all, I would like to thank my good friend Skye (fredweaxleyss ) for allowing me to write this plot. I want to say that me requesting this plot was our first time talking, and our friendship just grew from there. I fell in love with Victoria as soon as I saw her in Skye's plot shop, and I am so thankful to her for allowing me to take the time and bring Victoria to life.

Second, I would like to thank you, the readers, for taking the time out of your day to read about Victoria's story. I appreciate all of the support that has come along with this book and every comment and vote means that absolute world to me.

Feel free to read some of my other stories that are on my profile and give me feedback on those as well! Every single one of you have my entire heart. With all of my love, Rayne.

With all of my love, Rayne
