Chapter 15

Another figure appeared behind Gavin. Andy!!! Andy was Gavin's age, he had been our friend sense we were in grade school.

I quickly wiped my tears. "We just ended things. I'm pretty upset. Skylar still wanted to be friends though. I am sure he would like Andy" I said my breath still heavy. I slipped out of Skylar's grip. Eager to run to the safety of Andy.

"Hey Gweny" Andy said hugging me.

Andy was super tall, even compared to me. He had tanned skin and dark eyes and hair. He was a hockey player, A.k.a his butt rocked.

I pulled out of his hug. "What a surprise" I smiled at him.

"Gwen, seriously? We heard something crash" Gavin said still glaring at a completely dumbfounded Skylar.

I eyed up the scene. My phone fell out of my pocket when I hit the wall. Perfect. "I threw my phone at the wall... I was pretty mad"

"oh" Gavin whispered. I knew he wasn't buying it one bit.

We all retreated upstairs. Lacey sat on the counter legs not crossed, gross. Andy gave her a look then glanced towards the floor. He looks creeped out. I don't blame him I mean its Lacey she's pretty freaky.

I turned to walk to the bathroom and fix my mascara that was all over my face.

After I fixed my makeup we all went out for dinner, including Skylar. After that Skylar went home thankfully but I knew he wasn't really going anywhere. He would be back tomorrow to hang out with us.

Unfortunately Lacey didn't get the memo. She stayed. Not even ten minutes after sky walked out the door I received a text from him.

Don't think this is really over. Your mine.

My stomach twisted and I suddenly felt sick. I was snapped out of my terror by Gavin speaking to Andy and me. It was then I noticed I was trembling a little.

"Hey Lacey and I are going to catch some zzs on the couch, you too should head upstairs though you look pooped" Gavin said.

"You're so lame Gavin. And you don't have to tell me twice" I mean he wouldn't even take her up to his room.

"Yeah, I'd rather not spy on you and Lacey" added Andy.

We walked up the stair case slowly. I realized I was actually pretty tired.

"Which room would you like Andy?" I asked.

"I'm sleeping on your floor if that's okay with you" he said yawning.

"Sure we need to catch up anyways it's been way to long" I stopped and so did Andy and he gave me a huge hug.

I sighed. "You have no idea how much I needed that"

"I'm going to go change and brush my teeth but then we need to talk. Tell me what's up okay kiddo?" he said ruffling my hair before walking away.

I nodded walking to my room to change.

A few minutes later I found myself staring at the ceiling. Andy lay on a mattress next to my bed.

"Gweny dear what's wrong? I can always tell when you're upset" he asked turning to face me.

I peeked over the side of my tall bed returning his gaze.

"I don't know Andy. Lately I just feel blah...."

"you know what's wrong Gwen come on. I don't like that sky guy. He seems creepy, tell me what's up with him"

I shook my head feeling tears form.

"Come on Gweny I'm here for you. It's Andy-candy. I'm sweet"

I bit my lip. "You can't tell anyone" I stuck out my pinky to prove the seriousness of the situation at hand.

He nodded twisting his pinky with mine.

"He threw a controller at me... And threw me against a..." I was cut off by my own voice. I sobbed then continued.

"Wall. Luckily you came before it got bad. I really like him though so I tried to forget about it. But it was too much. I pretended like we broke up. Don't tell anyone please" I begged in a whisper. Slowly I crawled off my bed on to the mattress near Andy.

He wrapped his arms around me and let me cry a little. "I won't tell if you let me protect you from him, has he done anything else?"

"you're the best big bro ever Andy... And he sent me this" I said grabbing my phone and showing him the message.

"He's not going to so much as touch you Gwen" Andy said with anger.

"But what's up with you and Gavin. I mean I know you two hadn't been doing well sense he became famous but he said for a while you had made up a little. He wouldn't tell me why exactly you both were sent here. Don't tell me it was nothing. You both look like you're stuck under a rain cloud" Andy said frowning.

"Basically he was at the point where he needed to choose between me and Lacey and he chose her." I felt some more tears run down my already soaking wet face.

"Damn. Are you sure? Your way hotter, and I mean well everyone knows!"

"Knows what?" I questioned rubbing my eyes.

"You and Gavin. You too belong with each other, Lacey needs to get hit by a bus or something" he said shaking his head.

"I have no idea what you're talking about." I said as I got off his lap and lay back in my own bed. Laughing could be heard from downstairs.

Ew?

"Goodnight Andy, thanks for listening" I whispered.

What are friends for Gweny?"

The next day was spent at the carnival. It was fun but I could tell rage inside Skylar was building.

Andy always kept a watchful eye on my and his arm firmly around my shoulder. Skylar kept his gaze on me the entire time. And it, it was not a happy gaze. Lacey and Gavin were oblivious.

Typical.
