Ex-BFFs with the famous Gavin Ryton.
Chapter 26
"Gavin I don't think this is a good thing" I said listening to TV in the living room while we sat on the porch eating fruit.
We had been here only three days and each one was more perfect than the one before, we went parasailing and swam with dolphins, and hiked and a million other wonderful things.
"What’s it saying?" he said staring out over the sea.
"There’s supposed to be a huge storm!" I said hoping off his lap and sprinting into the living room to gaze at the TV.
A huge red and dark orange blob was right over us. "Hurricane!" I shrieked.
"What?" he said hustling in sounding worried? He looked at the TV screen and a knock sounded at the door.
"Yeah listen to that!" I said pointing at the TV and running to the door to see who it was.
Thomas stood there his face all fill with worry. "I'm so sorry to interrupt but the weather service has issued a warning and your parents sent your helicopter to come and get you. Your car has been moved far in land and you can get it later. The helicopter will be here in a half an hour"
"thank you Thomas" I said. "You’ll be fine right?"
"yeah I'm getting out of here as soon as the guests are evacuated, hopefully you enjoyed your stay and I'm so sorry"
"it's okay, and thanks again" I said shutting to talk to Gavin about the change of plans.
"What was that about?" Gavin said looking distraught.
"Well the helicopter will be here in a half an hour to pick us up, our parents felt it was unsafe for us to be here" I Said kind of bummed we had to leave.
"Aww, angel are you sad?" Gavin asked with a sweet pout.
"Yeah, our plans keep getting messed up!"
His eyes suddenly lit up and he darted out of the room to our bedroom then he can back quickly.
"Okay so I know that some things get messed up," he started slowly. He looked incredibly nervous. "And some things aren't meant to be right?"
I nodded a lump forming in my throat. I felt the tears well up; he was going to break up with me...
"well you and I? We are meant to be. I know we are meant to be. Angel I know we are only 19, and we haven't been together that long but I've known my entire life you were the one, will you please marry me?" he dropped down slowly and shakily pulling out the most beautiful, huge, sparkly diamond ring I've ever seen.
A tear fell down my cheek in excitement, I couldn't even speak so I just nodded and smiled. After he slid the cool ring on my finger I could finally udder some words. "I wouldn't want to have it any other way..."
He leaned in and kissed me slowly. I was so happy I could have jumped for joy. Gavin pulled away just looking at me and smiling.
"We should probably pack," I said.
"Yeah," he took my hand in his and we walked to the bedroom happily to pack.
In twenty minutes everything was ready and a limo pulled up. We got into it and sped into town to a huge empty parking lot. The driver got out grabbing our suit cases and loading them into the copter.
Gavin took my hand and we rode quietly over the ocean towards one of our houses, in London. It was loud so we had a lot of time to think and not talk. A few times I'd be deep in thought and Gavin would give my hand a squeeze to let me know he was there.
