The next day came and I woke up before the sun went up. Because whenever the sun rose, Miss Ann would take out her pots and pans and start to bang them as loud as she could to wake up her guests.
Because she doesn't want anyone sleeping in without breakfast. No wonder she only got 1 and a half stars. So before she could wake herself up, I needed to leave as soon as possible before my eardrums exploded.
I dressed myself up and took the two sleepyheads with me. They weren't heavy but as light as two feathers. I brought them outside and lean their body against the wall of the inn.
It was already 8:00 am and the kids were wide awake. Moreover, I just cast a small water spell and splashed their faces. Nean was complaining about why I woke them up. Well, because it's simple,
"Because we are going to the guild where I work."
"A guild?"
"Yep."
"But it doesn't explain why you wake us up super early."
"You will know eventually."
We walk through the busy street which was filled with happy citizens and other adventurers. Until we found ourselves standing in front of a luxury-looking guild.
The walls were as shiny as diamonds. And the entrance looks breathtaking as if were a gate towards heaven above. Nean and Lexi were standing next to me speechless as their jaws were dropped.
"This is where you work?!" Said Nean who is still amazed by the guild.
"Nope actually" I bluntly answered,
"What?" Lexi uttered as she snapped back into reality.
I casually walk away from that luxurious guild and guide the children towards an alleyway. It was pitch black that it looked as if it was still nighttime but luckily there are hanging lanterns around to help through the darkness.
As we were walking, Lexi take my hand and squeeze it right. I guess she doesn't like the dark that much. And then after minutes of walking, we reached the guild where I work at. (For real this time)
It was a 2 story building with orange stained windows, dark stone brick walls, and a black tiled roof followed by a wooden sign hanging in front of the entrance with words written on it.

THE GUILD OF BEER
WHERE WE HAVE THE BEST BEER IN THE EMPIRE
____________________________________
Lexi and Nean were staring at it with dismay. They must have thought that I would be in other places than this. It looked like any normal bar to them however to me, it's exactly where I wanted to be.I am not exactly the type of person who goes for a life of luxury because being in places like those makes me feel uncomfortable for some reason. Nean gave me a look and said,
"Are you serious?!" Nean said and gave me a nasty look.
"Yep. This is the place."I answered almost immediately,
"Are we lost or something?"Nean questioned while crossing her arms.
Once again, I answered while taking another look at the guild,
"Nope! Let's go inside."
The guild where I work isn't that bad to be honest, because the quest flyers were always restocked every day. Thinking back to when I first set foot inside there, I didn't have the slightest thought of going someplace else.
As I opened the doors, a beer bottle suddenly flew toward Nean. In a split moment, I pulled her away from the incoming object.
The bottle collided onto the ground, smashing into many broken pieces. I glanced at Lexi who was trembling with fear from what happened.
"N-Nean, are you okay?!" Lexi asked while she quickly searches Nean's body making sure there isn't any injuries.
"Yeah, I'm alright but.."
Then, she took a second to look at me and immediately back away a bit as if I was the scariest thing she's ever seen.
I can't believe that happen, it could've been an accident or it was done on purpose. But the fact that they were careless-
In sheer outrage, I violently kicked open the doors and cried out,
"WHO THREW THAT?!"
Almost immediately, the entire building shook and went dead silent. As I glared around the room, everyone was trying to not make eye contact with me as I hastily stomped towards the bar area where I slammed my fists onto the counter."Was it you Zeke?!"
The boy behind the counter trembled from my outburst of rage as his chocolate brown eyes widen as he stared.
If you are confused about who Zeke is, Zeke Casque is the first friend that I met in this guild. He's a Shield Wielder because he's too weak to fight so he rather sticks to defense.
He used to go on adventures with me last year but he decided to stop because a few of his friends disown him for being weak. I tried to stand up for him but he never let me do so.
He then decided to quit being an adventurer and he got a job at this guild.
And yes, he is not old enough to work at a bar but his boss doesn't care.
Zeke takes out his shield to protect himself despite the fear written on his face. He eventually answered my question as he stuttered,
"N-No Ria, I w-wouldn't do that n-not to a-a child."
"It was me!"
A familiar voice suddenly echoed through the guild, it was direct and stern.
I was hesitant to turn around until I did, where my anger slowly drifted into disgust. I shouldn't have known it was him because he would have the guts to do it.
"..Hanjin..."
