"YOU WANT ME TO WHAT?!" Zeke cried as he shook me violently like a maniac.

A few minutes ago, I introduced him to Lexi and Nean who were still surprised by what happened in the recent events.

Lexi's first expression on him,

She greeted Zeke with a smile as she shook his hand.

But as for Nean,

She didn't even greet him and only said her name.

As the introduction was coming along smoothly, I suddenly remembered that I had a quest that I needed to do. Catching a wild Mystic.

A Mystic is one of few creatures that live here in Philia aside from the monsters. They could become your familiar, they could talk, and they could change their form into humans.

The client is a very wealthy man who wanted a Mystic to give to his daughter and in return, he'll give me a sack filled with 500 gold inside. Of course, I couldn't say no.

However, tracking down a Mystic isn't an easy task. Not only that they're good at hiding but they're stronger than humans so this turned out to be an S-ranked quest.

Nevertheless despite my rank, I believe that I might be able to pull this off.

I can't bring the little ones with me so I have to leave them in Zeke's care, in other words, he's going to babysit them.

"Relax, I'll be back soon. You just need to take care of them while I'm away." Zeke finally stopped shaking me, panting.

"Why do we need to be taken care of?! Aren't we adventurers!?" Nean suddenly shouted.

"Yeah! I want to go with my big sister!!"Lexi also joined in,

Zeke had a shocked expression when I was referred to as her big sister. "Look, the quest is far too dangerous for you two. I will be right back after the quest okay? So, make sure to listen to Zeke." I explained and pointed to Zeke who waved at them.

Lexi and Nean exchanged glances.

"You are just going to leave us with this grass-head?!" Nean shouted again as she pointed her finger at Zeke's leafy green hair.

"Huh?" Zeke questioned Nean about the strange nickname she has given him.

"Don't call him that and behave" I said with a serious tone,

Nean looks away pouting while Lexi is trying to reach Zeke's idiot stand playfully as if she was a cat.

I looked over to Zeke and said,

"I will leave them in your hands." Zeke nodded in response.

I then used my staff to teleport back to the inn to get some extra supplies. I tried to ignore Miss Ann as soon as possible and then she gave me a basket filled with her homemade apple cream pie and a pink picnic blanket which I thank her for.

I wondered if I might use this, but probably not. And so I set out on a quest to find a Mystic. My last thought before leaving the inn is Nean and Lexi.

Meanwhile...

"Are the preparations ready yet?" The strange figure wearing black asked the short man bowing down in front of him.

"Yes, it is ready to begin." Said the short man who had a mischievous smirk on his face.

The figure nodded and said his next command, "Well then, let's head our way to the Rose Empire."
