Boss Fight

Cobalt launched himself towards the Goblins at full speed. The green monsters began to surround him and then they all attack him all at once.

Unexpectedly, Cobalt let out a loud wolf howl, and his body started to grow strangely.

Shortly after, a Goblin rushed out towards him with a sword but the Mystic Boy was able to dodge the blade swiftly to the left and knocked it down with his daggers. The Goblin fell and more opponents ambush him.

But without breaking a sweat, Cobalt dodges all of their attacks. Left, Right, Up, Down, he was moving freely.

As I stared at Cobalt in amazement, I noticed that his body is covered by magic particles. I don't know how but I was curious about this.

I then snapped out of my thoughts because I need to focus on the Goblins who were coming. After all, they are after me and the kids. I immediately took out my magic staff and send 'Missile Impact' towards the upcoming enemies. It hit them just in time and the blow was able to hit the Goblins which ended in an explosion.

Nean was able to ready her bow and shot three arrows at three Goblins who were charging at her with steel swords. The arrows struck their chest and the Goblins collapsed from the attack. She was doing outstanding.

Meanwhile, Lexi is having a tough time going against another Goblin who is also holding a sword. Its sportsmanship is a little decent but Lexi is trying her best in blocking the blade with hers.

Back to me, I whack one of the green monsters in the head, and they became unconscious. I then looked back at Cobalt who is still in his side battle. We need to get to the cave but with the gears turning in my head, I was able to think of a plan. I looked at the kids and shouted,

"Nean! Lexi! Head towards the cave! We handle them here!"

They both were able to hear me and began to run towards the cave while Cobalt and I distract the Goblins for them to escape. Let's hope that they will be okay.

I used 'Bending Blow' and fling the orb towards a few Goblins who were trying to attack behind me. As the smoke clears slightly, through the smoke I saw some Goblins who were holding a few multicolored potions.

I memorized the group of Goblins by the table of potion-making materials. They must have used them for other things like casting a paralyzing effect, which probably explains the magic particles from the fields.

They started to throw the potions at me but they had very bad aim. I dodged to the left and a potion almost caught me. It landed on the ground which left a slimy liquid on that spot. And once again dodged but this time to the right.

I clenched my staff tightly and started to run towards them while avoiding more potions coming my way. Then, I spun my staff a couple of times while running and whacking the Goblins, making them knock them over.

I finished them off by snatching one of their potions which is a paralyzing potion and pouring the liquid on their heads. The Goblins froze by the effect and they remained still. And to make sure, I whack them making them unconscious.

I turned to Cobalt is casually sitting over a huge pile of unconscious bodies of Goblins. That's actually kind of rude, to be honest, and a little weird.

He raised his eyebrow at me and said to me, "What? This is just a habit."

"Okay, let's catch up with the kids. They might have found the others." I explained while searching through the area if they were any Goblins left. But judging from the pile that Cobalt is sitting on, I'm pretty sure that's all of them and the only ones we need to defeat is Dashitall, the leader of the Goblins.
