Brewing Trouble

I glared in the eyes at the person who I hate the most and it was none other than Hanjin Exceed.

A boy almost around my age with silver hair, sharp scarlet eyes, and pale skin. As well as wearing a dark blue robe with an ivory belt, matching pants, and leather shoes.

He is a Necromancer which means he possesses the ability to summon and revive the dead. And he is the worst person I've ever met in my entire life.

Hate is a powerful word to use on him however, I can't explain the reason why not right now at least. To describe him, he is most likely to be the guild's cunning scoundrel.

Despite his terrible reputation, two adventurers follow him as his comrades who obey his every command. Their names are Drake who is a Berserker, and Mask who is an Assassin. I don't know that much about the two because they rarely visit the guild these days.

Soon the Necromancer spoke to me,
"I thought maybe I could play a prank on you by throwing that bottle but it seems you got yourself some company," He finished the sentence with that annoying smirk of his. It's always irritating to stare at.

"So, you were the one who done it then, honestly I should've known that someone as stupid as you would do something this low." I barked aggressively as my head hung low, clenching my teeth hard.

In a swift movement, my hand pulled out my magic staff which was attached to my back. Hastily pointed the staff directly at Hanjin's neck while I continue to talk as my anger boiled more furiously.

"Do you truly believe that it's fun to do something like that, huh? Even towards a goddamn kid! I have enough of your arrogance, fight me right here right now."

Hanjin however didn't lose his cocky composure. I guessed that he thinks I'm just weak and can't land a mere finger at him, how annoyingly confident.

Then suddenly he took his dagger and pointed it at my neck. He let out a laugh as he trumpeted loudly for everyone in the guild to hear.

"Heh, acting tough are we? Fine, you asked for it. Let's rumble." Hanjin accepted.

Both of us created some distance between each other getting ready to attack. The people around us started to take cover behind some tables and chairs not wanting to get caught in the fight. Lexi and Nean are watching this from the outside, not bothering to enter. So they just stood back like the others.

After about a minute passed, both of us charged toward each other, striking the first blow.

But then unexpectedly, Zeke and his shield got in between the two of us. He struck his shield which was facing either side of us and he activated his magic.

As soon as we were a centimeter away from the shield, both I and Hanjin were shoved back by a mighty force and smashed at the walls. I could painfully feel my back being crushed from the dominant impact.

Zeke's shield is known to be a magical weapon for shield wielders to use and only listens to its owner's command. Yet despite that, he isn't exactly as strong as a regular magic-user

My green-haired friend took out his shield from the wooden floor and called out to me.

"Sorry about that, Ria but I can't let the boss find out that there is a fight inside the guild, and this isn't exactly safe."

Hanjin who was annoyed, stood up from the and stomped his way to Zeke, and grabbed his collar.

"Oi four-eyes, why did you interfere?! I was about to beat the s-"

"Then what happens after? The guild would be destroyed along with the alleyway. That would be enough for you to go to jail for destruction, now make up you two" Zeke cut him off.

Hanjin clicked his tongue and dropped him

"Well, I'm sorry for the trouble." He apologized clearly without meaning it, making Zeke roll his eyes.

I reached for my sack where I store my belongings and opened one of my potions to heal myself. I took a drink, stood up, and walked toward the other two.

"I am sorry for the trouble Zeke, I shouldn't try to pick a fight with someone in here. Also, I would like to talk to you about something." I said to Zeke while ignoring Hanjin's childishness.

Zeke nodded in return. We headed towards the door.

"Don't think this is over you witch, someday I will beat you to a bloody pulp." Hanjin threatened before.

I gave Hanjin a death glare warning him that I will settle the score with him next time. But that time isn't right now. I caused too much trouble already. Zeke and I went out the door and introduced him to the two little adventurers.
