I feel like I stepped through a portal alone
This time I'm sure I'll never be back
This is a different reality
Unfairly and stuck in the middle
Locked away and with the key missing
What is one to do now?
If you speak up you might only suffocate
So now you must drown inside this sentiment
Where is justice?
Is it here where you can't go?
Far from your reach
Beyond repair and unfairly accused
Please don't let it destroy you
I know how far from yourself you are
It is terrifying
It is real
It is here
If I could offer comfort or solution I would
But how does one heal the wounds that we inflict on ourselves?
Lost myself a long time ago
But I've made it far
I hope to see you make it too
Out of the place that destroys you
But I understand now
