You're just wrong. There's no more to it than that. All your overthinking and figuring out and it never even made a dent. Sometimes it's the hardest thing to come to terms with, knowing you don't know everything.
And on the nights where you lie awake and question every opinion you hold near and dear to your heart, please remember this. You don't know everything. You never did. But you don't have to. It was never your job to make sure everyone could hear you loud and clear. Sometimes quietly holding your views while respecting those on the opposing side is the most beautiful thing.
The first step to understanding is knowing this, you can talk louder, but may never be heard. You can scream your views out loud or write them in a paragraph on Facebook and that doesn't make them right. You can surround yourself with people who agree with you to feel some sense of power and maybe in that same circle of people who hold the same views as you, you will feel heard. But maybe it's the wrong way. Maybe being heard isn't the point. Because while we're all here yelling over each other to be heard, our words fall to the wind and mean less than they did before they were said.
