Do you fight for someone
Who doesn't fight for you?
Do you hold onto every last thread
Hanging from their shirt?
Hoping that while they're away,
They'd be thinking of you.
They'd be waiting on,
Coming back to you.
But after it's been a while,
And they haven't returned yet,
Do you go searching for them?
Or do you let them go?
Can you really let them go,
Without closure?
