She was a little girl
So afraid of the darkness
He'd visit her every night
And admired her starkness
"Leave me alone",
she cried in fear.
He replied instantly saying,
"don't worry, I'm right here".
Time passed by.
She sat with him every night,
She got attached,
And Lost all of that fright.
In the morning,
She saw the monsters around her,
Soon enough,she got scared of the light.
And waited In a corner for night to recur.
She was a little girl,
So fond of the darkness.
She forgot what it was like
To feel so harmless.
