Chapter Nine

Four POV

DAMN IT! I didn't want her to see me like this. No one knows about what my mother does to me not even Zeke and he's my bestfriend.

I should really tell Tris about my past and I will tomorrow. I already told her not to call me Four anymore right after she kissed me.

That kiss. OMG. That kiss. It was perfect. She was perfect. I just like her so much i don't know what to do with myself but i know she's not used to affection so i have to control myself.

I just lay on my bed thinking about Tris until I fall asleep .

$$$$$ THE NEXT MORNING $$$$

*BEEP BEEP BEEP*

Ughhh. I don't want to go to school.

All of a sudden I perk up.

Wait, yes i do!! I get to see Tris.

I get up and get ready in about 5 minutes so I can catch Tris before she leaves.

I walk out my house and to Tris' door and knock. She opens is right away and damn, she's looking fine.

"Oh, um thanks" she says turning red and laughing.

"what?" i ask

"you were thinking out loud." She replies

"Oh shit.."

"It's okay. Hey, do you want to go to school with me? I'll drive." She asks before I can

"Yeah, of course." I say and she grabs my hand and leads me to her car.

We're silent in the car for a bit until I finally get up the courage to ask her something.

"Tris, remember how last night I told you not to call me Four? Well, I want to explain everything to you tonight. So Tris, will you go on a first date with me?" 

"Of course I will! Pick me up at 7?"

"okay."  I say and we pull into a parking spot at school. We unbuckle our seat belts but before we get out we look at each other. I see her leaning in so I do the same. Next thing i know, we're kissing. It feels amazing.

What a great start to the day.
