Chapter Eighteen

Tris POV

We've been driving for about a half hour now and I still have no idea where we're going but i dont mind because being in the car and just driving around with Four is so great.

Finally, we turn into a parking lot and park but I still have no idea where we are or what we're doing. We get out of the car and Four grabs my hand and pulls me into the very tall building right in front of us.

"what is this place" I ask

"My Favourite spot in the whole world, Don't ask questions you'll see soon just follow me." He responds

We go up what seems like 100 flights of stairs when we finally reach the roof of the building. Four Opens the door revealing all our friends.

"Finally!!" Zeke yells at us. "Where have you two been"

"Well, it's hard to get this lazy bum out of bed" Four says laughing.

"Oh Whatever. So, what are we doing up here" I ask

"well, you're about to have the most exhilarating moment of your life" Zeke Says

And that's when I notice there's a HUGE zipline that i can't even the the end of.

"Wait.. we're going on that?!" I ask

"OH yeah we are" Uriah says excitedly

Then i get this feeling inside and i dont know if it's because im excited or scared.

"You're next" Uriah says handing me the harness

and now i start shaking. i'm not really scared of hights but this.. i dont know this is making me feel uneasy. Then i feel something familiar grab my waist. I turn around and its Four.

"Don't worry, We're going together. There's no way I'd be able to do this alone" he says and I have a sigh of relief

"Well.. If something happens and we die, at least we die together" I say

We put on the harness and step up to the edge of the building.. wow is it high. we clip on to the zipline and Four grabs me for dear life

"We'll be okay, we have eachother" I say and give him a peck.

"Ready?" I ask

"No.. But i'll be okay." His voice shaking.

"C'mon you babies!! " Christina says

"On the count of three" I Say

"One"

"Two"

"Three" we both say

Four grabs on to me so tight i can barley breathe but I don't care because I know how scared he is. But This is actually amazing. I can see so much of the city it's beautiful.

"Four! C'mon, open your eyes! Its so beautiful ! You'll be fine I promise"

Slowly, he opens his eyes and smiles

"Wow" he says looking at me "This views incredible"

"Oh Stop looking and me and look at the city! its incredible!" I say

I look at Four admiring the city. He's so cute. He catches me looking at him and smiles and before I know it he kisses me and i feel so amazing. I feel like im on top of the world. We break away from the kiss and we realize we're at the end of the zipline. We detach ourselves and wait for the rest of the crew to make their way down.

"That was Incredible!" I sau to the whole squad "Thank you, Four"

"No problem' he replies nothing kissing me on the cheek

"OH GET A ROOM" Zeke yells

"Don't worry, we will later" Four says smiling

they all just stare at us as we turn around and walk away laughing.

We get back to the car but before we get in he pushes me up against the car and kisses me and my heart flutters

"What was that for?"

"For making me open my eyes while we were up there and thank you for being you." Four says and makes me blush.

"well you're welcome" I Say leaning in for another kiss.

we pull away and get back into the car. A half hour later we arrive back home and finish the day the same way we started. Laying in bed making out and watching movies.

yes i know!!! im just as shocked as you are that theres an update. i just havent had the modivation to tp write this book and im kind of bored of it. idk maybe ill write another one or give up. please bare with me as i will get through this book
