Chapter Three - When They Meet

Four's Pov

I walk into first period late, as usual. I hate school. Even though I'm surprisingly good at it but no one knows. Not even my best friend Zeke who I take a seat beside. Mrs. Matthews introduces herself and then says that we can have time to talk to everyone. I look around at all the usual faces until I see a girl who catches my eyes. She's beautiful and has the most amazing blonde hair and blue-grey eyes. After staring at her for about a minute I tap Zeke's shoulder.

"Hey Zeke. Who is that girl talking to Christina?" i ask pointing to the girl.

"I don't know" he says "but she's pretty damn attractive"

I don't remember deciding to do this but i get up and walk over to talk to her and Christina

"Hey Christina, who's this?" I asks pointing to the girl

"Her names uhh... what's your name?" she says whispering to her.

"Um.... um uhh.." she says struggling to find words.

"Is it a hard one?" I make a joke trying to be funny and impress her but i think it came off in a rude way.

"HAHAHA, funny!" she awkwardly says "My names Tris.. I moved here a month ago." Tris.. it's a nice name. I like it.

"Nice to meet you, Tris" I say then walk away slowly. Oh my, she's perfect. I could look at her all day. I want to get to know her. I want to know everything about her. I walk back to Zeke and try to get my mind off of Tris but I can't.

Finally the bell rings for lunch so I walk out the door and go to my locker. I'm putting my books into my locker until I hear Christina's voice talking to someone.

"I FOUND IT! Number 46" Christina practically yells.

"Chris, no need to yell, I'm right beside you." The girl tells Christina. I recognize that voice but i can't place who it belongs to until she says something else.

"There, now we can go get lunch. C'mon." Now I recognize it. It's Tris'. I quickly close my locker and yell to them

"Hey Chris and Tris, wait up!" they stop and both turn around. I see Tris starting to turn a little red, she so cute. I hope it's because of me but I doubt it. She's too good for me.

"Hey" they say in unison
