"Dreams come and go. But why do they sometimes come back in the day?" Emma thought to herself. She had another sleepless night, she has been having a lot recently. A lot of questions are assigned to her head. She didn't like it, "Why can't I be normal?" Emma whispered into the cold silence of the night. The old Victorian building cools down in the night, like they do. The stairs slowly squeak. Like a mouse. Or was it a mouse? The delicate but violent rain clashed with the window pains, keeping her awake. The questions still bothering her, Emma climbed quickly out of bed, lighting the candle and walking to the kitchen. She isn't allowed her phone at night. Emma made up that rule. She always thought technology was stupid, but like every teenager. She just wanted to fit in.

It was nearly morning now, the moon was getting the last bits of it's glory. But Emma was still awake, unfortunately. Her head was pounding because of the thoughts. The fatigue drowned her into the bed, closing her eyes forcefully. "I don't feel well." she thought.

A few slow hours later, her alarm went off, not helping her migraine. Soon her mother walked in, with a worried expression on her face, "You are supposed to be up by now. Are you ok?" She didn't like confrontation. So she simply smiled, and got up. Walking away as quickly as she possibly can.
