The two of them talked. Emma was still confused, but by knowing her name she seemed more welcoming. They talked and talked for hours. Till the night came. Emma looked at the window. Owls swooping from near by trees, the bats coming out to meet the moon.
Emma felt at peace. Even if she was a stranger. She felt a connection with her, she felt at home.
It was midnight now, the moon was at it's highest point and the earth was at peace. The air was calm and no rain was able to be seen for miles and miles on end. But the trees still whistled into the silence. Not caring that it is silent, doing their own thing. Which made Emma envy the trees, Making her feel stupid. More stupid than her being stuck in a part of her brain. but she still was jealous of the trees. They always stood tall and proud, talked with the wind. Got along with all elements, and some humans. But not most. Could Emma be one of those people, friends with the trees? Emma shook her head in disbelief at her own thoughts. "How absurd, friends. With trees?" Emma laughed at herself.
But while Emma was dazed off by the trees. Beatrice was walking round the cottage looking for something. She let Emma go through what she was thinking about. Beatrice needed some time "Aha! Here it is!" you could here Beatrice say from across the room quite loudly. She found what she was looking for, she could go outside now.
Emma jittered back to reality as Beatrice talked. Interested in her finding. "What'd ya find? Anything shiny?" But her reply was Beatrice walking out the door. Not even walking, skipping of joy. Emma let out a small chuckle. she is hyper. She was right, she is very hyper
