She opens the journal to see an old crumbly page. like she expected it to be. But it was written in. It had drawings of her house and nature, that were very familiar. But why would someone hide a random journal full of sketches? Why under the stairs anyways? She closed the journal violently

Her gut felt bad about it. Opening the journal was a bad idea, it just opened more and more questions in her head leaving her to nearly go insane. but she tried ignoring them. Opening the journal again and flicking through the journal. Till the stopped. A particular page caught her eye. Most the pages were made with a black, velvety ink. But this one was different. It was made with a rich green. Showing a stone. She expected it to be an emerald. But it wasn't remotely close. The precious gem she found was in the shape of a square, but still resembled a diamond shape in some ways. But the drawn stone was the shape of a, teardrop. Was it just a new ink he was using? Or, was it mean to mean something? This journal wasn't good for her mind. More and more questions circled her mind. Putting her in the sense of curiosity and insanity. So she closed the journal again.

"Why is this happening to me?" Emma whispered into the silence of the house. It was awfully quiet for having a quite loud guest in the house. She ran upstairs. Eager to check on her guest. But as she approached her bedroom, she saw why it was so quiet. The woman was asleep. A sigh escaped Emma's mouth. Causing her to slap her mouth at the gesture she proclaimed as rude. But the woman didn't even twitch. Which Emma found quite interesting.

As Emma reached the bottom of the stairs, she was surprised. What used to be a living room and kitchen full of broken glass and china with water and dead flowers, stood her old living room. Neat, and Victorian looking. Another sigh of relief escaped Emma's mouth. But this time Emma didn't fight it. She was relieved. Even if this was a dream.
