About 20 minutes later I see him at the top with Vici. Good thing too, Mom had said her kind could fly. Her beautiful wings unfold and I see my brother fall back in surprise. I smile, I was going to live! She swoops right below me and I thump on her warm soft fur. It hurt a lot, but I was alive. As I looked up I happened to look at her heart.

"Is it regular for a heart to have a small red dot that seems to be moving?" I asked confused.

"Wait, wha--" She started.

I heard a gunshot, a scream, and saw blood appear on her heart. That was a sniper's light?! I think to myself as we start falling down.

"VICI!" I scream in horror as we fall endlessly.

I look up and see Galactic rushing towards us at full speed. Too fast. I look at Victoria and see her heart cracking as time rushes by. I mean I can't do anything! But what can I do? I'm a weirdo human thing.

I look around for anything useful. We were drifting closer to the cliff itself and there were sharp branches sticking out of the sides. When we get close enough, I grab a hold of a branch and feel sharp pains in my hands. We start to slow down. I looked down and Galactic was also helping by trying to hold Vici. I held on tightly and my hands were... disgusting. I take a deep breath and feel the electricity in me. I felt the power going to my hands. More than adrenaline... I think. I need more than this! More strength! I think again and my hands start vibrating. What in the... I start to think but then another shot rings out and I feel a pain in my chest. My heart broke more and I looked at my hip-area. I gasped at the sign of blood. I then felt the power in my hands fade away and I looked up at my brother and them. Why does this kind of stuff keep happening to us? I send to all of their brains. But they didn't know about my heart breaking. And that's the way it was going to stay. I couldn't make them worry about their master or whatever's daughter even more than themselves. I had to save Vici and myself. I looked up helplessly. This was my fault in the first place. I looked at us, hurtling towards the ground. Another gunshot rang out and I felt even more pain. I looked at my heart again and it was broken even more. I thought. And I thought. Then I got an idea. I'll just do this. I thought to myself and closed my eyes. I concentrated. I wanted to act like I did when I fell out of the window and stopped in mid air. I felt the burning pain on my leg and hip, where I had been shot. I squeezed my eyes shut, waiting for either death or us to stop. Then it happened. We stopped in mid air, right above the gravel ground. I sighed thankfully, wondering how it worked. I looked over at Vici, her eyes had fluttered open and she was looking confused.

"What? How? WHAT?" She asked, confused.

"Sorry," I sighed and smiled.

We fell onto the ground, knocking the air out of us. Vici pulled her wings back in.

"H-How is your.... body?" Vici asked me nervously, looking at my wounds then hers.

I sighed. "I'm fine. We need to go back up there though..."

I looked up. My family was a speck. I looked around. Where are we? Everything is dead here. No living plants, animals. Then I got another horrifying thing in my mind. We were in the hunter's territory.

"V-vici, let's go back up..." I say nervously and turn to face her. But to my surprise, she was gone.
