🍋:How to compensate to an envious woman

Little note: Happened before Erwin loses his arm

He's... there again. At the bakery close to Stohess. I hid behind a wall, watching Erwin from a distance as he walked into the bakery, where he spoke behind the counter to a cute looking lady. I remember the person... she was the one who shielded him from the backlash of the people when we came back from the failed expedition. Nonetheless, was that enough to build a bond between them? I could see the baker laughing from where I was. God, why the fuck is he making her laugh? I would have to do it maturely if I were to ask the commander... but... here I am... watching as something else progresses between my boyfriend and the owner of that bakery.

"What are you doing, ne, Y/N chan?"

"Oh, h-hange san? f*ck"

"Huh? Yeah?" The four-eyed genius stood tall before me, "Why are you sneaky?"

"I'm following Commander Erwin..." says the stalker.

"ooooOOOooOHhhhhH Why?  Are you trailing your boyfriend around? Tee hee hee hee hee"

"Ah well... you know our relationship already," you paused for a moment and continued, "he goes to that bakery at this time every day, and I...want to know the reason."

"I see what you mean. Are you envious of someone?"

"Uh, N-no! Oh, I'm not... I just... what if I wasn't enough for him, and he decides to leave me for that woman..."

"Hmm... you know Erwin isn't going to cheat on you, right?"

"I know... before anything happens, I'll just keep watching him." You replied to her query 

For the next few days, you continued to follow him and even ditched some cleaning duties... earning an earful from Levi. The routine was as follows: follow Erwin-watch him until he leaves-see if he'll take any detours. 

Today was different because Hange joined you whilst Erwin's actions was no different. You both watched him Enter and exit while hiding behind the corner.

"Y/N, you can't afford to do this forever!"

"That I know!"

"Then do something"

"Just like...?"

"Like, tomorrow when he goes inside, you go inside and say "AH HA!" Oh, GOT 'YA NOW!" Hange screamed half-heartedly.

"N-no, that's going to make it look like I caught him doing something and I'm always going to embarrass myself."

"But he'll be shocked by that!"

"I would never do that!" you screamed firmly.

"What are you two doing, shouting in a public place?"

"C-commander! Commander! What are you doing here, h-here?" You stumbled over your sentences.

"I was obviously going back to HQ," he said, raising his bag of bread to show that he had already purchased what he wanted. "Now, what are you two doing here?"

"Nothing, commander... We were just hanging out"

"Don't lie to me, Y/N." He said firmly and continued: "Have you been hanging out in the same place for a few days?" 

"Fuck..." you whispered under your breath as he glared at you.

"Mmhmm, Y/N chan was watching you and studying your acts because she was jealous of the girl behind the counter," Hange sing-songed and pointed to the counter, referring to the woman. 

"H-hange san!" You were ecstatic.

"Well, I'll see you later, love birds."She waved goodbye and left just as Hange told him what you've been up to, leaving you and your stoic boyfriend behind. You didn't dare to turn your head in the direction of Erwin. Who knows what the man's reaction will be.
