Vampires... They are fictional characters. Characters who drinks blood and devours one's body. They are the "reanimated body of a dead person believed to come from the grave at night and suck the blood of persons asleep" and sometimes... they devour when their prey is awake. Aware, rather, of what they are doing.

Vampires have never really been a big deal, for they don't exist.

You believed in them when you saw it with your own eyes... Erwin -- trashing around like crazy and begging for blood. It shouldn't have happened, really. If Hange didn't inject him the "Titan serum" that she made. Of course, no one new the effects and she still insisted. No. YOU were the one who insisted. It was very selfish of you. Selfish because you wanted to spend more time with Erwin. He is your boyfriend of 2 years anyway.

Armin still got the Colossal titan and as Erwin lays asleep at his bed, you caressed his cheeks. Traced his eyebrows and his contoured cheeks. His features didn't change even after his transcendence.

You drowned at your own thoughts when you remember your happy and painful moments with him. "Shinzou wo sasageyo" you whispered softly. He always has given his life for that and what did humanity gave back to him? He suffered. He was full of rage and agony. Except he wasn't. That was only what you thought his position may be, but he wasn't. He kept calm all the time, never once faltered in this forsaken path. He carved a path for everyone. Everyone's future. He wanted that to happen. He wished for that to happen. A place where he would be the father of your child and the man whom you will devote you heart to. He- if you didn't beg for Hange to keep him alive- maybe he wouldn't be in that kind of pain. It already happened so, no backing down now. You'll just try to support him for as much as you can.

"Y/N...?"
He called out

"Oh, Erwin, you're already awake?"

"Yes..."
He answered and wiled your tears away

"Why are you crying, baby?"
He asked

"I - didn't know that I was crying. I- you should sleep some more... Your body still needs to recover."
You stated

"I know that."
He paused for awhile and continued; "Are you still blaming yourself? I told you that it wasn't your fault... I was ready to die - of course, I would be. But Hange... When she injected me with the serum... I saw a future with you. A future..." He smiled softly "with you"

"Right, I shouldn't be crying." You grinned to hide your tears. "But, you should sleep for now. Hange will have to make some new experime- I mean tests."

He gripped your hand and slowly rubbed circles on it. It was warm. The aura he emits is warm. Him, a lab rat? Hell naw. He knew that you don't want him to be like that. Erwin Smith? The great commander of the Scouting legion? A fuccing lab rat? You cursed and shittt that was the longest time you cursed for your life.

"I understand baby. You don't have to be afraid of anything. Besides, I could always suck you out when I'm hungry."👀

"It was a joke."

"I know... Just don't flirt with me like that."

"I did caught you off guard, didn't I?"

"Yeah yeah, old man. Go to sleep."

He growled and proceeded to close his eyes. You got closer to his forehead and kissed it.

"I love you."

"Love you to Y/N"

*3 weeks later brought to you by Mike getting asthmatic because of Levi's cleaning supplies*

"Everything is fine. Erwin's need for blood has lessened and I think that serum JCi89 is working well with his body." Hange said.

"I see."

"That's good, Erwin. Don't just "I see" the solution"

"Ouch, you didn't have to hit me on my head like that."

"Get a room." Levi said.

"Grumpy as always, heichou" you gulped when he glared at you. The room had a funny atmosphere. It was as though nothing happened -- like it was those times that Erwin gets sick because of overworking and he had to be examined. It was funny because you all have found a way to get through this nightmare. And there's still Marley... Whom Eren attacked just recently.
