Sparring trial:

"Fine by me." I stepped into the makeshift ring, not caring that I still didn't have shoes on. I bounced from foot to foot, while I waited for Alpha Mateo to step in. When he did, I couldn't help but stare. He was gorgeous looking for a man. He had a toned build, with muscles rippling underneath his black shirt. He was tall too. Taller than me, by probably a full foot. Damn my height.

Alpha Mateo stared down at me with a neutral face, and his jade eyes looking dead.  I just stared at him with wide eyes, my confidence slowly dwindling away. I shook my head, trying to get rid of the feeling. Soon, a "begin" was shouted at us. I studied what the man in front of me was going to do. Suddenly he lunged at me with a feral growl coming out of his lips. I quickly sidestepped him, while also bringing my left foot up, to kick him hard in the stomach.

A soft grunt was heard from him as he turned around to stare at me again. As he lunged at me again, trying to get his arms around my waist, I folded my hands together, bringing them down hard on his head of caramel hair. I then jumped up, only to come down hard on the ground. I looked to see that Mateo had grabbed my feet when I was almost over his head. I groaned, while also bringing one foot up to kick him where the sun doesn't shine. He stared at me shocked while falling back on the ground.

I smirked to myself, proud that I got him on his back. I then straddled his waist, only to smash his nose in with a defined crack, sounding around us. I then extended my claws on my dominant hand and poised them over his neck, signifying the finishing blow. "Match over!" was called out for everyone to hear. I got off Alpha Mateo as fast as I could and jogged over to my grandpa. He stuck a fist out at me, where I met him in a fist bump.

"You did good kid," Gramps said behind me as I got back in line. I watched as Alpha Mateo got off the ground. He looked angry, like pissed angry. All I did was smile at him and waved. He just growled at me like I was nothing. Shrugging my shoulders, I looked back to the sparring matches that were just finishing up. Some girls, who had worn their best clothes, had tears in them now, while others had bruised faces and bloodied lips.

Obstacle Course Trial:

While I just went over every girl that was crying or was upset about something, a voice, probably the trial leader, boomed around us. "Ladies line up for the obstacle course!" I followed everyone to where the make-shift course was. I noticed that it was built to look like a military course. I stood at the end of the line, but that only caused the men to laugh.

"Eridanus to the front of the run!" was called out of the blue. I did as I was told, taking my top off in the process, not enjoying running in too many pieces of clothing. Men growled around, but I didn't care. I handed my tank to gramps. He just chuckled at me while saying "Your tattoo is showing sunshine." I just replied with "I know old man."

Now that I was told to run at the front, I realized why. They wanted to truly test me to see if I remembered this terrain, or if I was going to fall flat on my face. Time to prove everyone wrong once again.

"Racers! On your mark, get set, go!" Was called. And right on go, I did nothing but sprint. I jumped over hurdles, crawled under wires, climbed two ropes wall, and I still hadn't broken a sweat. I shimmied through the tires on the ground and just followed the path the cones were making. I heard squeals behind me, but I didn't look back. I knew that the girls were falling in gopher holes as they tried to keep up with me. Suddenly I noticed the track was taking us through the pack cemetery. I got sad and angry, thinking about my family that laid here. But, I kept my head up, promising myself that I would visit them before I left.

Then, I saw the finish line. At the finish line was my gramps, holding his arms out. He knew what I needed right then. I ran right into his arms as somebody said "Time, 5 minutes 30.45 seconds." People mumbled at the astonishing time I had for the obstacle course. But I didn't care. All I did was break down in my grandfather's arms, crying at the fact that I just ran through a cemetery of fallen members, of family, and friends. Then I got angry. I gently stepped away from my grandpa, only to storm over to the trial leader.
