A half hour went by before anyone communicated with me. The first person to do so was Heather's doctor. "Alpha, congratulations, your going to be a father."

'A-A father?! I was going to be a father? Heather! I need to get back to Heather!' I said to myself. I then dashed out my office door, running back to the hospital. I didn't care if someone was trying to stop me. I needed my mate. I needed to figure out how to wake her up. And I need to do it now. I finally got to the hospital. I ran inside all the way to my mates room. I finally slowed down when I got the door. And right as I was walking into her room, I heard the sound of Heather's heart monitor pick up. Right then I started running again. Right to my love, who was finally waking up.

Heather's P.O.V.

For the longest time I felt like I was floating. It was a peaceful feeling. Like I was just laying in a lazy river. I couldn't hear anything, feel anything, but yet, I welcomed it. I knew I was still alive as I remember being briefly awake when on the back of the most beautiful wolf. My gramps visited me in the form of memories. Deep memories that included my parents and Uncle Rusty. They were so vivid, that I got to see what my parents looked like. My dad had a head of curly brown hair, his eyes were the same shade of blue as my own eye, he was tall, like 5'10, and his laugh sounded just like mine, but with a deeper baritone. He always had a mischievous twinkle in his eyes, but yet he was always respectful. Now my mama, man was she beautiful. She had the same straight black hair as me, but her eyes were like golden honey, fresh off the comb. Mama was taller than dad, like 6'. She always smelled like jasmine, but yet she was always covered in mud. But that was when she was the most happy, because her laughs of joy could be heard from anywhere.  I saw us running through the rain when I was no older than four. Then we were sitting by the fire wrapped in a heavy blanket, and I was dozing off to the sound of my parents singing. I saw my uncle and I climbing trees, scrapping our knees, and just resorting to the life of a child. And I got to relive the best camping trip of my life.

Everything felt so refreshing. Every memory was like a new drop of water that would reverberate right to the core. And then through the serene silence, I heard something. It was faint, but it sounded like *bum bum.....bum bum*  So soft, yet so loud. Like it belonged there. If only I could reach out and touch it. Hold it. Know where its coming from. Then I could understand why it didn't raise panic with in me. Then I started to hear louder noises. Like they were surrounding me. The loudest noise was a frantic *beep beep beep*. Almost like an alarm was going off. After the loud noises came the feeling of foreign items all over my body. I began to panic, and the noise just kept getting louder and louder. Then the sound of thunder started to approach, but what came next made me slightly calm. It was the feel of a gentle hand rest somewhere on my body. And then the most welcomed sound graced my ears. "Heather. Heather. I'm right here. I'm right here." The voice said. I so wanted to open my eyes. To see the face of the voice spoken. And as if my wish came true, my eyes opened. They were met with a dim light, which I rejoiced in. I tried to speak, but found something was blocking me. I started to panic once again, but the voice sounded again. "Hey. Honey its okay. The doctor is on his way. He'll remove your breathing tube." Breathing tube? Why did I have a breathing tube? Was I in the hospital? So many questions swirled through my mind, that they made my head hurt.

I began to panic. I didn't know where I was, what had happened to me, or what was even going on. I tried to move my head, but it was stiff, and hurt to move with this damn contraption down my throat. My eyes started to move frantically. I couldn't take in my surroundings properly, until my eyes started to focus on a silhouette to my left. I just stared at the form of the person there, until I started to see small details. The first of many was their vibrant green eyes. I only knew one person with eyes like that. It was my mate.  Soon another silhouette joined the party. This one had on a pair of blue gloves and white coat. I tried to focus on my mate, but he had stepped back to let the other person come into full view. "Good afternoon Alpha Female. So glad your finally awake." This person sounded familiar, but I'm not sure from where.

"Lets get that breathing tube out shall we?" I only looked at him strangely, but still followed his instructions. Soon I was able to move my head to its full extent. I was unable to talk at the moment though, due to the invasive material that once occupied my airway. I was able to drink some water though, which felt heavenly. But then something else replaced the straw after it was taken away. It was a set of lips that belonged to a god. A god that no doubtedly belonged to me in every way except marriage. Those lips stayed on mine for a while, until I basically had to push  the person they belonged to. I needed air, and this person was depriving me of it. I was finally able to break away from the person. I looked at then once again, only to find that I was seeing the same as before. My eyes hadn't cleared up. This small bit of internal information made me sad. I wouldn't be able to see my mate until this was resolved.

I was so deep in my thoughts that I didn't hear anyone speak. But my thoughts were interrupted when something ice cold was placed upon my body. I wanted to scream, but still couldn't. Then a sound filled the room. It was the same sound that I heard when I was unconscious. I looked to my left and then my right, and only one of the men laughed. The one on my right did as he told me "That is the sound of a strong and healthy pup." Wait, did I hear that right? I'm with pup? I'm pregnant? This was all to much for me. This whole ordeal was all to much. It got to the point that everything went back to black.
