we were on call all Friday night.
he had given me his discord.
we played Hypixel mostly. we stopped around one AM and just decided to chat.
I had learned about his love for coding. I didn't understand a word he said, but I could hear the passion in his voice.
"here, let me show you!"
I snapped out of my trance.
"oh- sure!"
what was he showing me? I wasn't entirely listening..
"well, you gonna join the server?"
ah.
I opened Minecraft back up and was met with the menu. I click onto his server and my jaw immediately drops.
in front of me, not even a hundred blocks away, lies an ominous black hole.
"it's super cool huh? I coded it the other week for fun. wanna try and speedrun with it on?"
I looked back at the black hole to see it growing ever so slightly. it starts to slowly pull me in.
my scream is loud. I don't care.
my moms out like normal, my dads working late shift, and my sisters watching a movie down stairs.
"GEORGE HELP ME!"
before I can say another word,
Dream fell out of the world
"that's terrifying! but super cool! how did you do that?"
he starts to explain.
why did I ask like I understood?
I don't mind. I could listen to him talk about anything.
I lean back in my chair as he rambles on.
I could get used to this.
