first day (pt.2)

After Alby showed y/n everything she was really tired. She yawns.

Alby: I see there's someone tired. I showed you where you can sleep. So go to sleep the first day is the best and you shouldn't be tired tomorrow.

He walkes away. Y/n gets into her hammock and falls asleep.

Next morning the sun shines bright and y/n wakes up pretty early. She fixed her hair and walked around looking for Alby. She was so impressed by the huge stone walls that she suddenly bumped into someone.

Y/n: I'm so sorry!.

Minho: Its alright greenie.

Y/n: Minho? What are you doing?

Y/n looks confused at him. She recognized he was going through the huge stone 'doors'.

Minho: ;I'm a runner. I'm allowed to go into the maze.

Y/n: Oh ok. Are you going on your own or what?

??: Morning greenie. Early riser I see.

It was a blonde and tall boy.

Y/n: You're Ben right?

Ben: Yea I am.

Ben starts checking out y/n.

Minho: You're coming Ben or do you want me to leave without you?

Minho was already at the entrance to the maze.

Y/n: Did you recognized that he walked away?

Ben shakes his head. Both laugh and Ben joins Minho and they both disappear in the maze. What is in there? Y/n asks herself and thought of possible answers. She noticed that W.C.K.D. never told her anything about this place except the fact that a huge maze is around it. Lost in thought, y/n hasn't noticed Gally who was running to her.

Gally: Hey y/n!

Y/n winces.

Y/n: Holy shit Gally you scared the hell out of me!

Gally. I'm sorry y/n but have you decided what do you want to do?

Without thinking of it she said:

Y/n: I want to be a runner!

Gally stood there looking at her like she said something impossible. Then he burst into laughter.

Y/n: What's so funny?

Now y/n gets a bit angry.

Gally: You didn't joked about it didn't you?

Gally stops laughing immediately.

Y/n: Of course not!

She walks away offended.

Y/N: Hey have you seen Alby?

Y/n asks one boy but he shakes his head.

Y/n: Ok thanks anyways.

She walked around like two hours looking for Alby. Then she hears his voice coming out of a hut. She wants to walk in until she hears Gally.

Gally: Alby you don't understand y/n wants to be a runner. That's ridiculous. I mean she's a girl and she don't seems like a runner.

Gally voice has a bit anger in it.

??: I think we should give her a chance.

Alby. We wait until Ben and Minho get back later and ask them. I mean if someone knows it then the runners.

Gally: But-

??:Gally leave it!

Y/n hears someone walking angrily in her direction so she tries to hide quickly. And knees behind bushes. A few seconds later y/n catches Gally up.

Y/n: What's up?

Gally: Nothing!

Y/n: Don't lie to me! I see it. You always look at different directions so you don't have to look me in my eyes.

Gally. How do you know that?

Gally seems a little annoyed.

Y/n. I mean you're my best friend so I know that.

Gally: You mean we were friends before the-

Y/n: No spoilers Gally! You have to wait until the bonfire tonight then I'll possibly tell you.

Y/n walks away lauging.

At the bonfire y/n sits with Gally, Alby, Minho, Ben and Fry-Pan, the cook, leaning against a tree trunk. Alby: Hey Minho, Ben can I talk to you?

The 3 walk away and now it's only y/n, Gally and Fry-Pan.

Gally: Hey Fry Shawn is stealing from the kitchen again.

Fry-Pan jumps up and runs after Shawn yelling.

Fry-Pan: SHAWN! GIVE! IT! BACK! NOW!!!!

Everyone at the bonfire starts laughing.

Gally: Can you tell me now?

Y/n: Sure I told you so. I already told you we were best friends but that wasn't the whole truth. We are more. We are siblings too

Gally: You mean like brother and sister?!

Y/n:yea.

Gally: GUYS!!! I HAVE A SISTER!!!!

Y/n pulls at his shirt.

Y/n: Gally! Shut up!

But too late everyone was cheering already. You blush.

Gally: Wait are you younger or are we twins or are you older?

Y/n: Don't worry you're 2 years older than me.

Y/n says laughing now enjoying the attention of the gladers.
