I groaned as my alarm for school went off it was the my first day of being in 4th year (you would be 15) I pulled myself out of bed and plopped onto my chair in front of my vanity and applied my makeup I decided to do a natural look I never really wear makeup but I wanted to impress my boyfriend Alex we started dating during the summer and everything is going great
I putted on my uniform my black school skirt a white Dress shirt tights and a black jumper with the school logo on it with a matching school tie
I only brushed through my hair to show my nice natural waves to match with a black headband Alex bought me on our 3rd date
"Mum I'm leaving love you" I shouted to my mum "ok sweetheart love you too" and I closed the door to see Alex at my gate of my house Alex only stayed a few doors down from me so we were always close like best friends
"Hello Y/N you look stunning even in school uniform" Alex said and kissed my cheek
"Aww al thanks you look handsome as-well"
Alex was hearing black school trousers with a white shirt and a black jumper same as mine he never wore the tie and the shirt wasn't tucked into his trousers it was all messily showing at the bottom of his jumper and he paired that with his white Adidas shoes that were muddy with god knows what he was doing his hair was all messy he looked so cute
We got to our school and went into registration class to get our timetable for the year
Mrs Wilson handed out our timetables and Alex looked at mine while I looked at his
"Yes were in the same classes" he said with his cute smile
"We got double music next our favourite" I pointed out and the bell went in no time
Alex grabbed my hand and we ran all the way down the stairs to music
Our teacher mr Clark was sitting with his guitar in his hand he usually practice his guitar when he didn't need to teach
Me and Alex were the first ones there we always were since others never took the class seriously
"Mr Clark I got a guitar at home and I wanted to see if I could use that and singing as my instruments this year" I asked shyly mr Clark handed me his guitar "let's see what you've got then" he said I took the guitar in my hands and started playing (house of the rising sun by the animals)
"There is a house in New Orleans they call the rising sun and it's been a ruin of many-a poor boy and god I know I'm one" i started singing the first verse and playing the chords to the song getting lost in the Music I forgot everything around me
"My mother was a tailor she sewed my new blue jeans my father was a gambling man down in New Orleans"
"Now the only thing a gambler needs is a suitcase and a trunks and the only time he's satisfied is when he's all drunk" on the instrumental part of the song I was so focused on the strings and finger placements of the guitar like my eyes were super glued to it Alex and mr Clark's eyes were on me with mouths open in shock as I never sang or played the guitar in-front of anyone before

"Well I got one foot on the platform and the other foot on the train I'm going back to New Orleans to wear that ball and chain"

I looked up and saw my boyfriend and teacher and Matt who must've came in when I wasn't looking all in shock "b-baby oh my god that where amazing I didn't know you could sing like that" Alex said and hugged me I felt a tear roll down my cheek "thanks Alex I was so lost in the song it's the first time I played it like that
"Wow Y/N that was the best I have heard where did you hear an old song like that" mr Clark asked in shock "it was me and my grandads favourite song when I learned the song I used to play it to him all the time I visited him" I explained with a teary face but with a smile
"You can use the guitar and you can sing you and Alex should sing together there his instruments aswell" mr Clark said
Me and Alex went into the practice room with our guitars and we sat down
"So rising sun" Alex said with his gorgeous smile "is that my new nickname" I said giggling
"Well I mean yeah love your 15 and you have a voice like that your going to be rising to the top of the charts and your shine bright like the sun" Alex said with a smirk as he knows I blush so bad at complements "aww Alex your making me blush" I said hiding my face "that's the point love no I'm serious thought now what song should we do" he asked
" Erm oh Sam Francisco by Scott mckenzie " I said "you really like the old 60s songs don't you Y/N" Alex said with a chuckle
"Yes now Turner you sing the song is our song" I said "ok do you mean it's me yours and me dads song" he said "yes and I think we should sing him it today" I said
"A great idea he would love to hear your singing now let's practice love" and we got practicing
