Alex and I started dating about a year ago everything was going smoothly I really like him love him even but there's one thing I've been meaning to tell him I have a four year old daughter Ava
I'm obviously not ashamed of having her it's I really like Alex and I did want to scare him away i genuinely like him
I was heading to Alex house to stay the night since Ava was staying with my sister tonight
I was in the car I was going to tell Alex about Ava in hope he will accept her if he really wants to be with me
I knocked on the door Alex opened it with a smile "hiya luv come in" he moved to the side to let me in
I walked into his house took my coat and shoes off placed my bag on the hanger beside the door
Alex came up behind me and wrapped his arms around me pulling me into a hug placing a lingering kiss on my cheek
"I missEd yeh sweet'art" he mumbled into my neck
"I missed you too" I said
We sat on the sofa and ordered takeaway and chatted watching tv i rested my legs on Alex lap as he rubbed my calves
"I luv yeh so much Y/N" Alex said looking into my eyes lovingly
"I love you too Alex" I said just above whisper he came up to me and placed a kiss on my lips
"Alex there something I need to tell you" I said pulling away
"What is it luv" he said worryingly
"I haven't been honest with you" I couldn't look him in the eye
"What yeh mean yeh "avnt been honest wif mEh" he said growing more concerned
"Well I-I" I sighed heavily "I have a four year old daughter" I said I felt the tears threatening to fall
"Yeh 'ave a daughter" he asked
"Yes Alex I have a daughter I didn't want to say anything before cause I was scared you wouldn't want to know me anymore I really like you Alex and I understand if you don't want to be with me" I said with tears falling down my face
"Of course I want be wif yeh" Alex said
"You do" I said looking at him
"Of course I do and I would luv to meet.." Alex looked at me as of to ask her name
"Ava" I said
"I would luv to meet Ava" he said smiling
"Does sheh know bout us" he asked
"Kinda she's only four so she doesn't understand she knows you as mummy's special friend" I said blushing
"Mummyhs special friend" he said raising his eyebrow and smirking at me
"Yes" I giggled
"Where is sheh now" he asked
"Down my sisters" I replied
"I think bof of yeh should come for dinner tomorrow" he said
"We would love that" I said pecking his lips We went to bed and cuddled I had a smile plastered on my face all night
The next day I woke up to Alex pecking my cheek and stroking my hair
"Morin luv" he smiled
"Morning handsome" I said pecking his lips
"When yeh goin to get Ava" he asked
"About 2:30" I said
"Do yeh want mEh to come wif yeh" he asked
"Your dying to see her army you" I said with a huge smile he makes me feel so loved even more because he's accepting my baby girl
"Well of course I am" he said
I was at my sisters door to pick up Ava
As soon as the door opened all I heard was little footsteps and a loud shout "mummy" Ava shouted I picked her up and placed her on my shoulder
"How was it at auntie Louise" I asked waiting on my sister coming back from getting avas stuff
"It was fun we watched movies and we make cupcakes" she said wrapping her arms around my neck
"What did you do mummy" she asked
"Well do you remember my special friend Alex" I asked she nodded
"Well I went to see him and he wants us too to go to dinner" I told her
"Yes mummy I want to meet him" she said
Louise came out with her bag
"So how did it go" she asked wriggling her eyebrows as I putted Ava into the car
"I told him about her" I said
She gasped "what did he say" I smiled "he wants us to go to his for dinner and we told each other we love each other" I told her said nearly screamed
Me and Ava left to get ready soon enough we where at Alex door
I knocked and waited till Alex came to the door
I was wearing blue jeans a white cropped t-shirt and a black cardigan
Ava was wearing her favourite outfit she had a pink dress with sparkling pink shoes
Alex wore his white dress shirt and black trousers that stop just above his ankle and his black loafers
"Ello luv" he said pecking my cheek
He looked down to see Ava looking at him like she had a crush on him
He kneeled down to her level "and yeh moost be Ava" he said with a smile "I'm Ava Y/l/N" she said cause me and Alex to chuckle
"I'm Alex Turner" he replied
During dinner we where sitting at the dining table soft music played in the background "Alex" my daughter said
"Yeah" he replied
"Can you put Lana del Rey On pwease" she asked
"Is she's yeh favourite" he asked she nodded
"She's mummy's favourite aswell" she said
"Come 'elp mEh pick one for yeh" he said
She got up and walked with Alex to pick a song
She picked her favourite say yes to heaven which was my favourite aswell they came back and sat at the table again
After dinner we all went into the living room and decided to sit on the sofa
"Mummy" Ava said
"Yes baby" I said looking at her
"Is Alex going to be my daddy" she said 'great how I'm a going to say this one' I thought
"Well I don't think you should ask me" I said not knowing what to do
"Alex do you like my mummy in a mummy and daddy way" she asked him
"Yes I luv yeh mummy" he said "and I would luv to get to be a part of yeh life's" he added
"Mummy do you like Alex in a mummy and daddy way" she asked me
"I love Alex sweetheart" I said
After that conversation we all sat on the couch and Ava insisted we stayed with Alex I think they both are going to be like father and daughter very quickly
