"Babeh joost take a test so weh both know if it's joost food poisoning" Alex my boyfriend said
Sitting on the hotel bed since the monkeys are on tour for there third studio album humbug
"Alex for the last time I'm not pregnant I'm on the pill and we use protection" I said
I've been feeling unwell for a few days I narrowed it down to food poisoning but Alex said I've been ill for too long for it to be food poisoning so he's constantly nagging at me to take a test
"I'm joost saying yeh never know" Alex said laying down on the bed
"Come with me then" I said if I just get the test he'll get off my back
"Fine come on luv" he replied getting off the bed and sliding his shoes on and grabbed his denim jacket I grabbed my leather jacket I already had my shoes on
We walked to a corner-shop and there was an old lady behind the counter
"Hello dears what can I get you" the lady asked she looked about in her 50s but she was so sweet
"Erm a pregnancy test please" I asked nervously Alex looked down to the floor and blushed
"Any one in particular" the lady asked
"Clear blue the digital one" I asked knowing that would give me the most accurate answer
The lady nodded and got the test and handed us it
Alex went to the fridges and grabbed a bottle of lucazade and handed it to the lady
"Tha' aswell please" Alex said
The lady scans everything "would you like a bag dear" she asked
"Yes please" I replied
She bagged the test and Alex took his lucazade
"That would be £12:50 please dear" the lady said I handed her the money and she gave me my change
"Good luck dears" she said as we were about the leave "thank you" me and Alex said
As we were walking back to the hotel I was getting more and more anxious my throat became dry
"Alex can I get some of your juice" I asked
"Here luv" he handed me the lucazade I took a big gulp
"Yeh know if yeh are yeh know it'll be okay" Alex said I only nodded
Once we got back to the hotel I went to make dinner
"I'll do the test after dinner" I said I wasn't ready to take it just yet
"Take yer time babeh" Alex said
I was feeling lazy so I just shoved frozen pizza in the oven and made chips
After dinner I decided to take the test
"Alex I'm going to take the test" I announced
Alex nodded I walked to the toilet and followed the instructions
After I took the test I washed my hands and went back to Alex with the test in my hand Alex hand his hair up in a ponytail which I found incredibly cute
"Now we wait" I stated falling on the bed Alex laid beside me nuzzling his head into my neck
"I'm excited teh see wha it is" Alex mumbled into my neck placing a soft kiss to my neck
"I'm nervous"I said
"Everyfing will beh fine I promise babeh" he said
I placed my hand under his chin tilting his head up and placed a kiss on his lips Alex kissed back I placed a few more kisses on his lips and played with the hair in his ponytail
"Where we off to next" I asked
"Glasgow" he replied we were in Manchester the now
"I can't wait I love Glasgow " I said
"Tha cause yeh were born there luv" Alex said (I had to add my birth place please say there's Scottish people reading this)
"Hey it's not my fault I'm from the best place in the uk" I stated
"No Sheffield is" Alex protested
"Enough on which place it the best and let's check the test" I said
I grabbed the test and flipped it over
Instant joy washed over me
"We're pregnant Alex" I squealed
"I'm gunna be a dad" he whispered in shock
"I'm gunna be a fookin dad" he instantly hugged me placing a million kissed all over my face
"I luv yeh so fookin much" Alex whispered into my ear
"I love you Alex" I said giggling
Alex pulled away he had tears in his eyes
"Oh Alex don't cry" I said wiping them away with my thumb
"There happeh tears luv happeh tears" Alex said I kissed him hard
"We're going to have a family" I said smiling
