The animated bar crowd erupted in hooting and hollering as Dovie give them her signature smile, "Oh, you all are to kind!" "Encore! Encore! Encore!" Rudy; a bar regular, hollers out when the girl chuckles, "Now, now. I don't think you want to hear me belting out all night." "Yes we do!" Rudy shouts as the other bar patrons cheer, "Encore! Encore! Encore!"
Dovie looks to the audience amused at there usual antics before raising her hands, "Alright! Alright! Let me clear the pipes and I'll give you one more. Then I have to leave, okay?" "Whooo!" The crowd cheered, making the girl laugh at her amazing customers.
The bartender; Allica, passes her a shot which she takes down like a champ. She hands the glass back to Allica before speaking into the mic, "Okay, that definitely cleared the pipes." She laughs with the bar patrons before continuing, "So my last song is something I've been working on. So you all better give me an honest opinion, okay?" The girl got plethora of yeses and hollers before she smiles, "Okay, let's get into it."
She stummed her guitar, making sure it's still in tuned before beginning her newest song,

Did the world stop spinnin'?
Nothing seems to change
I'm stuck at the beginning, and I'm in pain
Did the sun stop risin'?
'Cause the sky's so gray
Did the world stop spinnin' today?

The rowdy bar patrons were stunned silent as they were entranced by the low sultry voice of the song bird...

I woke up, fell back to sleep
'Cause I'd rather live in my dreams
I lay here wonderin' why..

Dovie closed her eyes, gathering the emotions from the years of loneliness without her family...

Did the world stop spinnin'?
Am I frozen in time?
'Cause the birds stopped singin'
Are we flawed by design?
My heartbeat's racin' like a strange ballet
Did the world stop spinnin' or did I?

The Songbird let out all her raw emotion deep into the lyrics. Her sultry belting ending into an alluring, enchanting soft tone...

The world has stopped spinnin'
The lights are all dimmin'
And ah-ah
The world has stopped spinnin'
The end is beginning, ah-ah

The girl ended the trance the same way it started.... low and sultry and the cap of her empty heart...

Will the world stop spinnin'?
Nothing seems to change
I'm stuck at the beginning, and I'm still in pain
Why'd the sun stop shinin'?
Why's the sky still grey?
Oh, the world stopped spinnin' today...

Sending out one last strum of a chord the trance was broken and the bar patrons hollered like the rowdy bunch they are. Dovie give her fans a big smile before taking one last dramatic bow, "You've been amazing as always! Have a wonderful night and tip your bartender! Goodnight!"
With that she heads off the stage, hiving fiving a few regulars on the way. Dovie finally makes it to the bar just as Allica hands her a water bottle, "You killed that set!" "Thank you! But I'm sure they're getting sick of me." The girl chuckles, taking a large drink from the bottle. Allica rolled her eyes, "As if! I can't get enough of your music. I swear you should of been signed to a record deal or something." "Oh, you flatter me." Dovie laughs before finishing up the water. Allica took it to throw away when Dovie asked, "You guys good if I take off?" "We got this. Have a great night!" Allica assures her before the girl went to pack up her guitar. She flings her jacket on before putting the case onto her back, "See you guys next week?" "Well be here. Enjoy your days off, boss!" Allica exclaims as Dovie headed out of the bar. The bouncer opens the door for the girl, smiling, "Have a great night, Dovie! Stay safe!" "You too, Blake!" She smiled back before heading out into the crisp night air. She stretched her arms out, taking a deep breath of fresh air before heading down the sidewalk.
