~*~*~*~*WEDNESDAY 8:15AM*~*~*~*~
Dovie and Diego enter the living room; hand in hand, looking around to see only Allison there. The said sister holds out 2 coffee cups to the two before they walked over to take them, thanking her. Diego headed over to sit on the couch and Dovie went to join him, but not before Allison elbowed her, "So things are going good with Diego?" "Later." The girl chuckled when Allison gets a glint in her eyes, "I'll hold you to that." The girls chuckled before Dovie went to sit by Diego.
Luther and Klaus finally entered the room, grabbing there cups from Allison before settling down. Luther and Dovie gave each other a look before taking turns and spilling everything that Five has informed them of in the past few days.
Allison asked, surprised, "Three days?" "That's what Five said." Dovie answered, taking a sip of her coffee when Klaus plops right next to her, "The old bastard did mention the apocalypse, come to think of it. He just left out the part about how soon." "But can we trust him? I don't know if you notice, but Five's a little..." Allison began to say when Klaus chuckles, finishing, "Our little psycho." "He was pretty convincing. If he wasn't trying to stop an apocalypse, those lunatics wouldn't be chasing him." Luther explains, putting all the pieces together for the others, making Diego asked, "That's why they were chasing after him?" "Yeah." Luther nodded when Dovie asked, "Wait, even though Five told me about the apocalypse I had a feel he never told me the whole story. Did he tell you, Luther? What did Five see?"
The girl had no idea on what he saw, but she trusted him enough to know it was bad. Luther thought for a moment before answering, "Well, apparently, we all fought together against whoever was responsible...." He looked like he wanted to say more, but chose not too. The other's noticed this as he got up continuing, "Okay. So, here's the plan. Uh, we go through dad's research--" When all the siblings began interrupting him,"Wait, what?"
"Woah, woah, woah."
"Hold on, hold on."
"Wait a tick, wait a tick, wait a tick."
Klaus was the one to ask, "What actually happened the first time around?" "Yeah. What are you not telling us?" Diego following up that question, with the girls agreeing whole heartedly. Luther froze like a small animal being back into a corner. Diego continued, "Come on, big boy, spit it out." Luther looked at all his siblings before looking down at his coffee, gathering his thoughts when he mutters, "We died." Before taking a long drink from his cup, leaving his siblings looking flabbergasted. Allison was the one to shake off some of the shock to ask, "What was that?" "I said, uh, we died." Luther coughed, having his siblings look at each other in complete shock.
The siblings gathered around, interrogating Luther on what he knew and why he kept it from them. The argument was getting heated when the siblings were interrupted by Vanya, "Hey."
The agruing stopped immediately as the siblings whipped around to not only see Vanya, but a man with her. Dovie was super confused on who this man is and why he's here... what else has she missed when she was trying to stop the apocalypse with Five.
Vanya could sense the intense situation when she asked, "What's going on?" The siblings all looked at each other coming to a unanimous decision when Allison talked for them all, "It's a family matter." "A family matter? So you couldn't bother to include me?" Vanya asked, masking her hurt when Dovie felt guilty and spout out, "No, it's not like that. We were--" "Don't let me interrupt." Vanya interrupts, turning to leave when Allison calls out, "Wait!" She walks over to Vanya, continuing, "I'll fill you in when we're alone." "Please, don't bother. And I won't either." Vanya spat when Allison says, "Vanya, that's not fair." "Fair? There's nothing fair being your sister. I have been left out of everything as long as I can remember. And I used to think it was dad's fault, but he's dead. So it turns out you're the assholes." Vanya sneered before turning back our leaving the academy with her male friend following behind.
The siblings were shocked in silence, thinking about how bad they've been hurting one of there own when Klaus breaks it, "Ouch." "I'm gonna find Vanya and explain." Allison said when Dovie stands up, "I'll go with you." "No, wait, there isn't time. We need to figure out what caused the apocalypse." Luther said, dreadfully stopping the sisters in there place. The two glance at each other, knowing he was right.
They turned back to the group as Luther continues, "Now, there are loads of possibilities. Nuclear war, asteroids. But I'm thinking this is about the moon. Right? Dad must of sent me up there for a reason!"
The twins looked at each other, having the same look as they rolled there eyes. Luther rambled on, "And I was giving him daily updates on the conditions, I sent field samples. The first thing we need to do is find his research." "Hold on. Hold the phone." Klaus began to say, having everyone turn to him as he continued, "We all died fighting this thing the first time around. Remember?" "Klaus, shockingly, has a point. What gives us a win this time?" Diego asked when Luther answered, "Five. Last time we didn't have him. We weren't all together. This time, we'll have the full force of the Umbrella Academy. That's what we need." "So where's Five now?" Allison asked when Luther replied, "Well, he had a plan to change the time line. He'll be back soon." "I'm going after Hazel and ChaCha." Diego states, downing his drink before going to leave when Luther asked, perplexed, "What, right now?" "Diego..." Dovie sighed when Diego ignored her answering Luther's question, "Hell, yeah! Three days. I'm loosing light by the minute." "Wait, Diego. Look, I know you wanna avenge your friend and get revenge for Dovie, but we got a bigger problem here." Luther tries to reason with him when Diego fumed, "She wasn't just some friend and Dovie almost died! If I'm gonna die, I need to know I killed those bastards! It's not about dad. It's not about me. The longer I wait, Hazel..."
Dovie rolled her eyes, tuning out the two 'macho' men arguing, but couldn't help feel a pange of guilt about Eudora. She knew that's who Luther was talking about.... the girl didn't know the detective died... it's all her fault.
Her guilt subside, not by choice, but by her twin telepathy tingling.
Looking over Dovie immediately noticed something off about her other half. She she watches as Klaus, muttering to nobody, rubbing his arms with a gleam of sweat break out on his skin. The beginning of a withdrawal. Dovie has seen this plenty of times when her twin lived with her, trying to become clean.
The girl walked over to him, putting her hand on his forehead. He looked up at his twin, when she gave him a concerned face, "Are you okay?" "I'm amazing..." He gave her a unconvincing smile before laying his head on her abdomen, "Just tired." The girl winced at the pressure on her healing wound, but didn't say anything and just pets her twins head in comfort.
He let out a breath of relief, "Ahhh... that feels nice." "Why don't you lay down, yeah?" Dovie suggested when Klaus looks up at her, giving her a small smile, "Yeah... that sounds nice." He gets up, arms wrapped around his twin, whining, "Carry meeee~" "No. But I'll help you upstairs." Dovie chuckled when they began to leave the room.
They past Luther who noticed, "Klaus?... Dovie?... Guys!" "Yeah! Sorry." The twins said, simultaneously, turning back around when Luther held his arms up, "So, what? You're giving up on the world, too?" "Yeah, pretty much. Yeah. Mm-hmm." Klaus nods as Dovie shakes her head, "No... it's just.... Five is MIA and we have no idea what or who starts this apocalypse. We've hit a dead end, Luther. I'm sorry." "So that's it? You guys are cool with all of us dying in three days?" Luther asked, disappointed when the twins sighed, tiredly. The girl tried to come up with some sort comfort of her bigger brother when Klaus grabs her wrist, dragging her out of the room.
