On the seventh hour of the first day of October, 1989, a woman went into labor.
The doctor wraps the newborn up, gently carrying him over to the new father. She transfer the baby in the man's arms, smiling, "Mr. Jenkins, meet your son." The man stares down at his son, letting the realization come over him... He's a father.
He's actually a father! This was unusual in no way whatsoever. The culmination of a normal, average pregnancy.
The doctor let the new father have some time with his child. The new father stares down at his son with all the love and adoration he can muster, "Hi Harold... Hi son." He lets out an elated chuckle, blinking away some happy tears.
The child was average in every way.
Suddenly machines started beeping rapidly, sending the medical team into action. The doctor calls out, "Code! Get a crash cart in here now!" "BP 80 over 30, she's coding." The nurse informs them, checking the vitals. The man watches the team work on his wife.
The mother of his child.
His whole world fell apart watching the women he loved die.Unfortunately,
for the world,
the circumstances of raising....
Were anything but...~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
"Help, Harold! Help us!" A young boy exclaims, moving his action figures, "Worry not, Umbrella Academy!" He begins using his self made action figure to hit away the bad guys, "I'll save you from the evil Doctor Terminal!" He crosses the floor hitting every bad guy he could make before landing on the end table where the members are located. With a swift double hit Doctor terminal was done for.... But the fantasy was destroyed by the sound of the door opening and his father's voice, ringing through the household, "Harold, put away those stupid dolls and get me a beer." A dejected Harold, sadly picks up the action figures before scurrying out of the room as his father calls out, "And hurry up about it!"
In the kitchen Harold grabs the beer bottle out of the fridge before noticing the Umbrella Academy comic on the counter. He picks it up, studying the back to see the only limited edition figure he doesn't have, Sir Reginald. "HURRY UP!" His father shouts, losing all his patiences. Harold pays no mind, going into his own fantasy as he begins to flip through the pages of his precious comic... not realizing his anger ridden father walking up behind him until it was too late.

Up in the attic, Harold sews together his uniform, silent tears streaming down his face, a bruise forming under his eyes. But he powered through the hurt and finally put together his own Umbrella Academy uniform... and he knew what he needed to do to get out of this nightmare.

Harold maneuvers his way through the crowd who are hooting and hollering for a particular group of kids. Harold makes it to the front of the barricades as a female exclaims, "They're coming! I think I see their car!" Harold looks out to see the Mercedes Benz pull up and Sir Reginald steps out.
The crowd went nuts as the kids stepped out of the car. The young boy put his beg over the barricades, just waiting for the right moment. He looked back out to see each member begin their way towards the house.... The boy looks in excitement, knowing who was who like the back of his hand....Ben was leading the pack with Klaus and Dovie; the twins, linked arm in arm waving to the eccentric fans.
Diego was not far behind them, trying to hide the way he's fawning over the girl.
And bringing up the rear was Allison and Luther behind her.
