Chapter 36

Everyone looked stunned even Jake.

The one person who caught my eye though was Eric standing alone and stunned in the doorway. He looked pissed?

He stormed up to me barely any space in between us. Of course Jake was beside me in a heartbeat ready to kill.

" The only fucking reason you want to stay with them is because of the Chiefs fucking son who gives you a good fuck every now and then "

" They actually treat me with respect and think of me as family and Jake loves me "

" You mean like I loved you when I left you? "

He knew he hit a nerve hell everyone knew by the way my expression changed and body tensed up. I couldn't let these important people see me wounded.

" Fuck you "

I said and stormed off when I was around the corner I ran into the girls bathroom and locked myself in a stall.

" Tay "

Jake said knocking on the stall door.

" What! "

" Come on Tay it's okay "

" No it's fucking not he just embarrassed me in front of the most important people in the world literally!"

" Everyone thought you were pissed and you didn't want to hurt anyone so you stormed off they don't know the truth but I know my Tay better then that "

" By that you mean you know how weak I am "

" No by that I mean I know how hurt you are by people who you trust then betray you since you don't trust anyone easily "

" Apparently I trust easier then I thought cause I let that asshole in and look where that got me? Crying like a dumb ass in a bathroom stall when I'm suppose to be out there with the most important people in the world "

I heard him sigh then he crawled under the stall into the stall with me. The stall was very small so our bodies were pushed gently together without trying.

" Why are you in here? "

I ask

" Because your here and obviously hurt and I'm your mate so that means I heal you when ever your hurt no matter what even if I did the damage myself "

" How the hell did someone like me end up with someone like you? "

I ask more to myself and kiss him slowly and passionately.

" I have no idea guess it was just great luck on my part "

I smiled and kissed him again.

" Now let's go out there before they suspect were having sex in the stall "

I rolled my eyes but let him lead me out there.

Surprisingly my screw up was forgotten because now the vampire leader and Chief were screaming at each other.

I of course out of instinct went in between them to try to break it up but the vampire leader didn't agree and slapped me and I stubbled backwards and almost fell on my ass but Jake caught me.

" Why the hell are you two bickering! "

Me and Jake ask in sync. It takes all my strength to not smile at that.

" He called you a bitch! "

The chief yelled

" It's true "

The vamp leader said looking pleased but I rolled my eyes.

" People call me names that doesn't mean I am any of those things just that they are to immature to keep their jealousy hidden "

I said shrugging. Everyone once again looked stunned.

" That's it I'm so fucking tired of this shit I will just take you! "

The vamp leader yelled angrily and grabbed me by my arm but Jake quickly pushed him away from me and punched him in the face.

" Don't ever fucking touch her! "

Jake growled.

" I'm a king I can fuck her if I want! "

Jake was about to tackle him but his dad the chief held him back.

" What my lovely son is saying is you can't take Taylor away that easy but nice try "

" Well then war it is "

Everyone's eyes got huge and everyone stiffened.

" I will go with you "

I say quickly and the vampire leader smirked.

" As long as you keep them out of it I will go with you "

" No your not Taylor you need to stop trying to protect us and do what you want to it's not fair to you that your the only one sacrificing "

Jake said wrapping his arm around my waist preventing me from walking away.

I was about to say something but surprisingly the Chief spoke up.

" Jacobs right Taylor you have been sacrificing your own desires for far to long it's time someone else does "

Me and Jake looked at each other. We were both in shock the Chief never chimes in unless it's VERY important.

" So I'm guessing you have a death wish? "

The vampire leader said with a smirk to the chief.

" Just tell me the time and place of this war and I will be there to see your bloody army go down in dust "

" I've never been beat before "

" Well you have never had a challenge quiet like this "

" What do you mean wolf? "

" Well I guess you will have to wait until battle to find out "

The vamp leader looked at me worry flashing across his face but he quickly hide it.

" I will send one of my vampires to tell you when and where but I'm done here "

He turned to me and I could feel Jakes arm tighten around me.

" Remember if they lose its their blood on your hands may even be blood from your wolf so if you ever change your mind just tell Jonah "

He said and zoomed off along with the other vampires the only vampire who didn't leave was Eric.
