Me and Axel were walking around the mall looking for a dress shop. He was forcing me to buy another dress since I had returned my other one.
The ball was at 8:30 and Lavender, Charlotte and Lilith were forcing me to get ready with them so I would have to start getting changed earlier.
I had one of my hands in Axel's and the other one gripping his bicep. He wore a pair of glasses so he was less recognisable.
I don't think it worked though since I had seen people look at us strangely a few times but not a whole bunch of times.
Axel had taken me to get ice cream earlier. I had obviously gotten vanilla.
No matter how much I pestered him, he didn't get any. There must be something wrong with him.
Who in their right mind wouldn't eat ice cream?
It's just unheard of.
"Adalyn." I turned my head to the left at the voice and a large smile spread across my lips.
"Shane. Oh my god. It's nice to see you again. Are you with Sophia?" He smiled at me and looked behind him.
"She's here somewhere but I'm sick of her and Zayn arguing so I've ditched them." I let out a laugh but felt Axel's hand go around my shoulder protectively.
Shane looked at it before looking up at him. His eyes widened a little before he turned back to me. "He doesn't look like Bucky?"
I choked a little on my spit and felt Axel's eyes drill into my head. "S-Shane shush. Don't expose my secrets."
I smirked and took a sideways glance at Axel. His eyes were sharp and he seemed really angry. "Who the fuck is Bucky Adalyn?"
I swallowed a lump in my throat and awkwardly laughed.
