The whole gang has noticed that ever since Say No To This went on Aimee hasn't really been on stage but when they heard the song they notice why.
The next song played and the lights were dimmed, Oliver saw a woman holding a bucket and a lamp, there was a bench with something on and she laid the lamp down and sat on the bench holding one of the letters in her hand.
The women then sat down facing the audience and it turned out to be Aimee and it seemed like she had been crying a bit backstage, the tune was simple and elegant nothing like anything else yet in the whole show, she held the letters in her hand and looked up.
I saved every letter you wrote to me, from the moment I read them, I knew you were mine, you said you were mine, I thought you were mine...' she sang dragging out the last note.
'Do you know what Angelica said, when we saw your first letter arrive, she said "be careful with that one love he will do what it takes to survive"' she sang looking out to the audience still holding on to the notes, looking into the god seats with no smile to show.
'You and your words flooded my senses, Your sentences left me defenseless, you built me palaces out of paragraphs, you built cathedrals she sang looking at the letter she was holding shaking her head in depression.
I'm re-reading the letters you wrote to me, I'm searching and scanning for answers, in every line, for some kind of sign, and when you were mine...' she sang still looking at the letter flipping through them.
'The world seemed to burn... burn' she sang looking at the audience while holding the letters on her lap.
Oliver saw this and a tear fell from his eye and down his cheek since he hated seeing Aimee like this.
'You published the letters she wrote to you, you told the whole world how you brought the girl into our bed, in clearing your name, you have ruined our lives' she sang and Oliver felt her look straight at him, her eyes were still teary after just crying backstage which will be happening all night at this right but she will have to save it for later.
'Do you know what Angelica said, when she read what you done, she said "you have married an Icarus, he has flown too close to the sun"' she was still looking up and Emma looked at Julie sitting beside her 'she really has a powerful voice' Emma said and Julie agreed.
'You and your words obsessed with your legacy, your sentences border on senseless she sang walking around the bench to the bucket near the lamp.
'And you are paranoid in every paragraph, how they perceive you, you, you...' she sang looking up again then back down to the letters shaking her head side to side.
'I'm erasing myself from the narrative, let future historian wonder' she sang getting down on her knees facing the lamp 'how Eliza reacted when you broke her heart' she folded it up and put the letter in the lamp for a bit then took it out still singing 'you have torn it all apart, I'm watching it burn' she sang holding the letter with flames on over the bucket as long as she could.
'Watching it burn' she snag in a higher note turning th letter over keeping her eyes on the flames, she then chucked it into the bucket and went back to the other letters on the bench and David saw the heartbreak in her and it wasn't acting it was really something happened and she doesn't tell anyone.
'The world has no right to my heart, the world has no place in our bed' she sang picking up the letters in heart hands while looking into the fire in the bucket 'they don't get to know what I said, I'm burning the memories burning the letters that might have redeemed you' she sang holding them up high looking at them carefully.
'You forfeit all rights to my heart, you forfeit the place in our bed' she sang looking at the group but that's where she would look all the time but she quickly looked away after seeing Oliver's reaction.
'You'll sleep in your office instead, with only the memories of when you were mine...' she then sang slowly putting the letters in the bucket and standing up dragging the "mine" out.
'I hope that you... burn...' she sang dragging it out, closing her eyes for a second then opening them back up, and took the lamp then went back off the stage the way she came holding it up.
'Ollie I think something happened to Aimee' James said looking at his brother after seeing that she just looked at them all 'you think, she basically looked at us in the eyes and she looked like she has just been crying' he whispered back after getting looks from people around him.
'I don't think it's heartbreak, I think it's something much worse' David whispered from behind them and they both looked at each other in the eye can't imagine what is happening, and they want to know.
